You know its game over when wwe video games selling more then tna ppv's and the dvd's
WWE has been in business for over 30 years...TNA has been in business only 6...so I would give em at least that lil bit of credit, theyre still new & growing.

Lets just hope they dont make a permanent move to Monday if this show does well.....TNA aint ready to go head to head

I know but Hogan fend to fuck they shit up in my eyes bc all he wanna do is compete with vince and tna isnt at the level yet to compete like you said they still growing I think Paul Heyman wouldve helped them out better then Hogan.

Also Heyman is gonna be starting a new company soon

thats the best way to go. watch r.o.h blow up in a few years and pass tna up. Ric Flair and Piper even said on a recent shoot interview that r.o.h is great product and will be major soon

would be great if Heyman just focused on Extreme type wrestling with his new company. TNA will not be around in any where from 3 to 6 months, i can see it now and i hope it happens. Would like to see Angle, Nash, and even Booker T back in WWE.

Yeah TNA house shows are good. After the show the wrestlers also come out to the crowd and sign autographs And they have Angle or someone else take pics with people in the middle of the ring

They had 2 back to back house shows on the west coast last year around November time....it was in LA though, i was in the area for some independent wrestling events (PWG) so i went to 4 shows in total that weekend...alot of wrestling lol

Got to see Samoa Joe vs. Angle

Christian vs AJ Styles

then the next night it was Christian vs. Samoa Joe and Angle vs. Styles..... the match with Roxxi and Awesome Kong was tight too, 2nd night especially. They ran some smaller venues both nights but about half of them were full..

here is an interview that Hogan did that makes me feel good about this move....especially what he says about the writers. One thing WWE has done is scripted and boxed wrestlers in, controlling em like robots....in the Attitude era you didnt have that and every single promo wasnt scripted, thats why stars like the Rock, Stone Cold, and others broke out.

Slam Wrestling has an interview with Hulk Hogan talking about his suicide attempt, TNA and returning to the ring in Australia. Here are some quotes from it.

" Jan. 4, we're going head to head with WWE. We've got to pick a fight. I don't know what's going to happen that night. If we get bodyslammed by WWE, we'll get back and go at them again."

"What we have now is the writers telling the wrestlers what to say and do. I'm coming in to push the writers aside. Sure, they still have to make it flow and block time. If the wrestlers need a writer to tell them what to do, they can pack their bags and go north to WWE.. Writers don't have a feel and instinct for the business. They've never been in the ring. If I can't make it work, I'll pack my bags and leave."

"I want to make the characters come alive. Characters like Andre the Giant and Rowdy Roddy Piper were larger than life. That's what I want. TNA is doing a lot of things right. They have a lot of great talent. But there are a lot of major WWE stars burning my phone up, asking if they can work for TNA when their contracts are up."

"Right now there are no plans to put the yellow boots on, but sometimes the fans will box you in ... they could start yelling Hogan vs. Sting ... and then maybe we have to do something about it. Contractually it's not part of the plan, but it's still there. When I start Hulking up, the places are on fire."

On wrestlers who've made a difference:

"Gorgeous George was the bearer of excellence. Andre the Giant is there, too. The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, for a shorter time they made an impression."

Hogan is acting like a politician. He says crap people want to hear to reel them in. At the end of the day it's going to be Hogan and his pal calling the shots and making sure everyone they want to go over actually goes over. When you come in and push the writers aside, and the wrestlers have NO MIC SKILLS, how can you expect them to sell the product/brand? Yes the Ultimate Warrior had no mic skills, but what he lacked in mic skills he made up in running to the ring and being "warrior" and really didn't have to talk. Nowdays, these people have to talk, and if the storylines and booking isn't compelling, and the wrestlers suck, they're doomed to fail.

There are a handful of TNA wrestlers who got their own style.....off the top of my head

Nigel aka Desmond is a good heel, Motor City can be funny, The Pope has some of the biggest potential in my opinion.. these guys got mic skill AND can wrestle...I guess he intends to let guys like that shine... but yeah that comment about WWE guys calling him is usual Hogan hype, I want to believe that he is gonna make changes...he has always been against going with a script and about having his own creative control, so I could see it happening.

Hogan had his own creative control because it was good business to have it as it always benefitted Hogan. There is no way he is going to extend that form of creative control to other talent, no way.
