I was just reading a Q&A from PWInsider one of my favorite websites. They make a good point:
Q: Watching the Rise and Fall Of WCW, it just dawned on me that you have another wrestling company, TNA, thats about to have Russo, Nash, Bischoff and Hogan all working together again, owned by another millionaire who never came up in the wrestling business the way Vince McMahon did, now of the four perhaps only Kevin Nash, due to his connections, could be guaranteed a return to WWE if he really wanted it, with that all said, how likely do you see it for these 4 guys to all put their egos aside and learn from their mistakes 10 years ago?, because truth is if this fails, this could be the last shot all of these guys have
A: WCW was owned by a BILLIONAIRE, not a millionaire. Later, when those guys were there, it was owned by a massive conglomerate where things easily fell through the corporate cracks and allowed people to take liberties. That is a big difference. Dixie Carter is not a billionaire and she will have her eyes on the bottom line in TNA. I think in TNA those guys won't be able to "abuse the system" the way that they could in WCW just because of the difference in the structure of the company.
