well Hogan has been mentioning the new TNA deal on his little press tour for his book, so i would say its more than an internet thing. plus they have a whole month to hype the 3 hour monday night special, i dont see how it could backfire. nothing WWE has done with these celebrities or even putting on ppv caliber matches on Raw has boosted the ratings

See the way I see it is Hogan fucked his shit up when he did that reality show imo. Now like Prem said The Rock is gonna be the host of Raw and that will bury tna that night specially since hogan isnt wrestling he just making a appearence on impact. all vince gotta do is pull another one out the hat that night and bring back bret hart or ultimate warrior(example)of someone like that on the show along with the rock to host.

Also the more I read I think Hogan is gonna fuck tna up bc now they saying he gonna get rid of the six sided ring soon. also sid viscious suppose to be coming to tna so he maybe the other guy(i know bischoff coming) they say coming with hogan.

Both companies are not at teh peak or too entertaining at all. Wwe needs to handle they product like tehy did in the early 90's meaning drop most these stupid ass soap opera stories and get down to the wrestling more. Tna just needs to quit trying to be wcw and be more creative far as matches.

exactly

she gonna run tna into bankrupcy trying to go against wwe. vince got the paper to put them out if he wants too. also he can buy all the talent(bc them guys will leave tna for more paper) and put them on lay away.

dixie is approaching this whole thing wrong you can tell she dont know shit bout the business and being convinced by hogan just bc he has a grudge against vince for not letting him fight cena at mania last year. she shouldve just made hogan debut by surprise build the shit up then go head to head.

im seriously convinced tna will fail on the 4th

if this shit fails with TNA and if they let hogan and bischoff go cause they probably wouldnt be able to pay them their salary if it goes bad, Vince better not ever deal with Hogan or bischoff again,,no appearances, guest host, none of that shit....Ric flair too if he jumps ship....he better have that "fuck em" mentality cause i know thats how i would feel

the difference between this and WCW/Turner is that Spike TV believe in the TNA product, they have been dealing with wrestling for almost 10 years now and without them TNA would not be around right now. Dixie is not throwing around millions to sign just anyone, you notice Hogan's wording when he says he signed a deal with Dixie and Spike TV, because Im sure if it fails it won't fall of TNA as a company itself. Spike TV knows Hogan can still put a decent rating like he has done with Hogan Knows Best and that Celebrity Championship wrestling so combine that curiousity people have of Hogan plus the TNA fanbase and there should be a significant ratings bump

All i hope is that the little Nash skit where he poked fun at Brutus and the Nasty Boys, was real and they dont even up bringing in trash like that, that no one cares about

If you think about it.... TNA has nothing to lose in doing this. Monday aint their night, even if they lose big in ratings, its not gonna affect them in the long run. So if anything people are gonna get curious and tune into their Monday Impact..... then next week they'll be right back on Thursdays like usual. Nothing to lose, all to gain..

kevin nash on impact thursday said to foley that hes bringin some old band mates back in and they are putting the band back together .. i wonder if hes talking about scott hall ?
i think sid viscious or bishoff. scott hall fucked up with tna for good when he skipped that ppv. lol and he way outta shape and old looking now i would rather see jake the snake back before him. lol

Thing about it would be a major lost bc they whole goal of doing a monday night is to try to beat wwe out. so you know hogan will feel salty if it fail bc he trying to do everything in his power to get revenge on vince for not fucking with him last year for mania. imo TNa had something special when they had only all the new young guys now they got all the old washed up guys coming there. kurt angle is even starting to look old and tired now

I was just reading a Q&A from PWInsider one of my favorite websites. They make a good point:

Q: Watching the Rise and Fall Of WCW, it just dawned on me that you have another wrestling company, TNA, thats about to have Russo, Nash, Bischoff and Hogan all working together again, owned by another millionaire who never came up in the wrestling business the way Vince McMahon did, now of the four perhaps only Kevin Nash, due to his connections, could be guaranteed a return to WWE if he really wanted it, with that all said, how likely do you see it for these 4 guys to all put their egos aside and learn from their mistakes 10 years ago?, because truth is if this fails, this could be the last shot all of these guys have

A: WCW was owned by a BILLIONAIRE, not a millionaire. Later, when those guys were there, it was owned by a massive conglomerate where things easily fell through the corporate cracks and allowed people to take liberties. That is a big difference. Dixie Carter is not a billionaire and she will have her eyes on the bottom line in TNA. I think in TNA those guys won't be able to "abuse the system" the way that they could in WCW just because of the difference in the structure of the company.

i only disagree with the undertaker thing

taker's gimmick and storylines may not be up to par but his in ring performance is still fantastic

if WWE would make him a heel again and put him in fueds with the younger talent on Smackdown, then the younger talent as well as Taker would actualy shine
