I THINK THE DUCKS LOOK WAY BETTER THAN THE SHARKS. IM GOING TO TRY TO WATCH THE NEXT GAME
The Ducks played OK offensivley. Getzlaf will do what he did to Nabby 4 out of 5 times. The key was Hiller and the D. It was his first playoff appearance and he shined. Hopefully he can bring it again, but its doubtful. The way we PK'd and the way the Sharks were playing we could played 5 on 4 hockey all night.

Sharks will bring heat on Sunday and you guys NEED to take 2 games in Anaheim or it might be a first round exit for you guys...

Sharks did not even show up in the 3rd period I know that much, honestly this aint surprising cuz Anaheim is good and they have a lot of experience and it seems the Sharks didnt have any playoff experience in that game.

Sharks just didnt get lucky tonight.. we did everything right minus a couple mistakes, but the Ducks just got lucky tonight.. 2 of the 3 goals were just shots that went in thru the 5 hole or squeezed in. Cheechoo had a sick goal.. so much for net camping i guess?

Our Power play was shitty but i feel we played better when we were down a man.. there was a couple chances to score a short-handed goal.

What it really comes down to is the Ducks have been sitting in front of there goal so no shots can get past them into the net, also the Sharks have really struggled getting the puck into the Ducks zone while it seems the Ducks puck control has been much better.

yeah i was gonna say that.. the ducks D was camping in front of their net.. so no shots were able to go thru.

You cant use that We Weren't Lucky or Pucks Were't Going Out Way excuse 2games in a row. Once is cool, but not twice in a row. If you give up 2 goals in the 3rd, you are going to lose.

Haha, the Ducks aren't that lucky...

What a let down. It sucks because both the Sharks, Canadians & Flames are pretty much out (need to take 4 of 5), and the Ducks (in my opinion) wont win the cup. The the only real team I can root for at this point is Vancouver (once the Ducks are out). I don't care for any of team and it is going to ruin another season if Detroit takes it again.

its not an excuse tho.. just last week you were complaining about cheechoo being a camper when your Defense does the same shit.. and the goal lastnight by Cheechoo was a break away, so much for net camping huh?

Sharks are just not getting any luck.. theyve hit the post every game so far, when you're out shooting the other team and still lose it tells you something.

Either way.. Fuck Detroit.

Well they are defensemen, they are supposed to be around the nets perimeter. Sometimes it can end up hurting since they screen their own goalie.

I think the biggest reason you guys are out shooting the Ducks is because when your offense is slacking you just try to put pucks on net and "try to make something happen", whether it be a lucky goal, catching a rebound, a redirect, etc. The Ducks can take shots at the net all day too, they just choose quality shots over quantity.

I just don't like Cheechoo. He can make goals like that every game and I will just hate him more. It's just one of those players that get on my nerves. Everyone has one...

I agree to some extent about Cheechoo. I like him a lot, but his skill is limited and dependent primarily on people making plays for him. That's not to say a guy can't be a non-playmaker (see Brett Hull, Pavel Bure) and be successful, but he seems to need to perfect set-up to make something happen (most of the time).

My prediction for the finals:

Detroit vs. New Jersey

You're right its not over....but...
Statistically (read on ESPN somewhere) about 87% of teams that lose the first 2 games end up bieng eliminated. In the Sharks case, they dropped the first 2 Home games...I bet the stats for that look a lot worse.
