You know I've kept my mouth shut this entire season and I dont mean to troll your thread but this game tonight was a joke.
Sharks get all the calls at home and still lost against Anaheim.
The refs are all over the Sharks nuts, again tonight, and you guys barely came away with the win.
You guys play all your power hockey way too early in the season and that is why your entire line is banged up. You have played this hockey for years now and the coach really needs to slow it down. You think you would figure out you need more speed in your line, after all these playoff failures.
Good luck when you play a real team in the playoffs (Det, Chi, Van, Cal, etc.)AWAY from home without the refs giving you hand jobs like they have been all year.
You are going to need a lot more than Nabby and a bunch of backup's to win the cup.
PS - Cheechoo needs to get punched in the face for cherry picking his whole career. The guy is the biggest net camper in the NHL. I dare you to tell me I'm wrong...

I can't really comment on both games because i wasnt able to watch them. But i do know the sharks have trouble with usually lower seed/crappy teams.. As far as getting all the calls at home.. thats bullshit guys usually get free punches on our players and dont get called for it.. or when our skaters have a break away theres a dude who interferes.
As far as Cheechoo net camping.. go watch some career highlights.. he's a goal scorer, you know.. burning you then taking a shot at the goal.

Dont be mad cuz we took the series and the ducks arent having the season they want to have...although they made the playoffs and will make things interesting. Its tit for tat, all sorts of calls are missed, and the sharks have had their share of getting fucked over on the road (against calgary, detroit and buffalo), it happens. Perry laid out Cheechoo on what should have been an interference call, and from there it was just messy. As usual, it was YOUR team that had to make it ugly at the end, getting pissed about losing. Erhoff decking Selanne in the face was great.
Sharks just won in a shootout suprisingly enough considering they usually always lose in shootouts. Did not realize the game was even on cuz it was on Versus and i was watching the A's game and seen it on the scoreboard and was like oh shit the sharks are in overtime. Discuss why didnt you remind me it was on lol?
1) Cheechoo is a cherry picker. You can say is he at the right place at the right time, but to me he just stands in front of the net and picks at rebounds or makes redirects. He probably one-times shots 1 out of 20 times. He's a camper. The guy really isnt a play maker at all, he's just a leech, it's just my opinion though. Hey he gets the job done, so thats all that matters I guess.
2) Not hurt about the Ducks losing. Sure I like the Ducks. Im a bigger fan of Calgary and Toronto, started out a Maple Leafs fan. I love hockey in general, I don't team ride too hard, but I do have ones that I root for. I really like the Flames chances this year...
3) The reason you have trouble in shootouts is because Nabokov isn't as great as Shark fans make him out to be. You argueably have some of the best defensemen in the league, which give him a huge amount of help. Your defense clears the zone so he doesn't get screened so much. Why do you lose shootouts? Why do they lead in the most short handed goals given up? Because he isn't the greatest net miner in the league and can't handle one on one very well. Stop praising him, he isn't that great. Sure he is good, but I wouldnt even begin to put him in the top 5. I'll take Kipper, Price, Luongo, Thomas, and a handful of other goalies before I even mention Nabby.
I wish them the best of luck, I really do. I would love for another west coast team to win it, I just dont think the Sharks will get passed the 2nd round...
