I dont know how you could not like Mayo. He's roy type player with more of a killer instinct on the offensive end. I think he would be a great compliment to Roy and both of their ball handling and passing abilities are good enough to where we wouldn't really need a pure point guard. There are always freak athletes with potential like Outlaw in the middle of the first round, but guys like Mayo don't come around too often. Like I said though, I like Outlaw and he definitely fills a valuable need, but I think you gotta move him if it gets you a talent like Mayo.

If we can get the 22nd pick from them for a couple of our 2nds and maybe some "cash considerations" does that make it more or less likely that we can trade up in the draft?

I don't think I would want Marion and I doubt Miami would trade him for anything we would offer. As far as Mayo, it would be nice to have a player of his caliber on the team, but the rumor is the only teams he is gonna work out for are Chicago, LA, NY and Miami. Looks like he's trying to dictate what team he goes to. On the other hand, this could cause his draft stock to drop and it might be easier to get him.
^^^I gotta assume there is going to be a pretty big trade for us on draft day. The rumor KP has targeted somebody and is working on scenarios to make it happen (I'm hoping its for a legit starting pg, I think we're fine at every other position.) and with Rudy coming over we have some expendable players like Jack, Frye, and McRoberts and a lot of picks. I would say Sergio could go in almost any deal, but I have a feeling he's probably damn near untouchable now with Rudy coming over cause he will help speed up his learning curve into the NBA and probably help him out a whole lot learning English. Anyway, I wonder who KP is targeting. Established NBA player or prospect? I'm still hoping we can get Harris somehow.
^rumor has it seattle might shop the 4th pick cuz they wanna trade down to get kevin love... who knows though, at this point everything is a smoke screen.
regardless, i can trust KP, and that whatever he does, it should only be better for the team. whats good is that, we have a LOT of talent to trade for other pieces to the puzzle.
