lol this whole time projecting the roster I forgot Frye was even on the team. he's been good for us at times this year. He would be a much bigger asset to us if he had ANY type of post game to speak of. Perfect backup/depth guy at 4/5 if he could do that.
yeah, it seems like whenever channing gets the ball when he's in he HAS to shoot the ball, and I question sometimes when we post him up on the block and actually give him the ball and he does some retarded post move...If you can call it a move.

channing fits in with our character, he's a Northwest, portland kinda person even tho he's from New York... If he has no problem gettin 8-10 min a game then I think he's good to keep... but I think him and jack are good trade bait...

webster leaping like outlaw did this year would be huge...

I hope it really does happen, becuase he is a good guy for this team, he fits in with us, and like you said he's only 21...

I still think he needs to get better at ball handling...
I do too, but it really looks like Roy is working with him on that. Webster has a nice cross that looks a lot like Roy's that he didnt have before...

its more like he needs to improve dribbling in/out of traffic, seems like when ever he is pressured when he has the ball on the floor he will get ripped, or dribble it off his foot or something

While the immediate future brightened, the long-term financial standing of the Blazers inched closer to a positive resolution. General manager Kevin Pritchard said Darius Miles was examined by an independent doctor in New York on Wednesday to determine if the injuries to his right knee are career ending.

Pritchard said he is "optimistic" the doctor's ruling -- which should be finalized by early next week -- will find Miles' to be physically unable to play. If that indeed is the case, the Blazers can waive Miles and will receive $18 million in cap relief from the final two years of his contract. In two years that cap relief, along with the expiring contract of Raef LaFrentz ($12.5 million), figures to make the Blazers a major player in the free agent market in the summer of 2009.

Jarrett Jack just fucking kills me man. Yeah and Joel was a beast on the boards since all star break, sucks he wont finish the season with the rest of the young team. Tough games left the remainder of the way and would have been very beneficial for him and the team to have him in the lineup for grooming purposes.
