^^^To me personally, Roy, Aldridge and Oden make missing the playoffs for a few years way more worthwhile than making the playoffs as a low seed with no real shot at contending for even the Western Conference title let alone the NBA title. So saying we missed the playoffs for a few years only reminds me that we have 3 great pieces (4 if you count Rudy Fernandez who many GMs around the league say would have been a top 5 pick in this draft, and possibly 5 depending on what happens with the lottery/draft day) to build a heavyweight around.
