From the Blazers ...

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, guard Jerryd Bayless, center Greg Oden and guard Brandon Roy are set to participate in the 2009 USA Men's National Team mini-camp July 22-25 in Las Vegas, Nev. The selections were announced by USA Basketball Chairman Jerry Colangelo today.

The mini-camp will feature practice sessions on July 23 and July 24 before the showcase event, an intra-squad scrimmage, held on Saturday, July 25.

Aldridge and Bayless were members of the 2008 USA Basketball Select Team that trained with the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team, winners of the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Oden was selected as a member of the 2007-08 USA Basketball National Team program.

The USA Basketball Men's National Team will compete in the 2010 FIBA World Championship in an attempt to qualify for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.

Portland's four representatives out of 25 selections for the mini-camp are more than any other team in the NBA.

Check out more from the USA Basketball website, including the entire roster.

I could see us landing Hedo, he opted out today, i would be down with that.

everyone was complaining how we didnt take blair, but blairs knee are bad and he's small for his position.

I was a lil shocked with the Claver and Pendergraph picks, just because they werent even on the best avail. board at the time. i get why we took Claver, but i dont know why we traded up two spots to get him, unless they had a hunch Sac was going to take him.
Pendergraph, i dont really get why we took him, i would of liked Sam Young at this pick or takin young with the 33rd pick. I dont see Cunningham doin anything in the NBA, but i see Young being able to play at this level.

hedo is overrated as fuck and doesnt fill a need. i hope this cap space aint burned on his damn near over the hill ass.
as far as blair, he might be undersized but he gets the damn job done. did u see the way he picked thabeet apart? the boy can ball and it pisses me off that kp had 3 shots at him and couldn't be bothered to use even a 2nd rounder on him. so what if he had knee surgery in high school it aint like we was gonna play him big minutes anyway. he woulda played 15 minutes a game behind aldridge tops. kp bullshitted his way through the draft this year. i expect more than falling asleep at the wheel

The Bulls better not trade Kirk for Blake and Outlaw. We need somebody to stop D-Wade from rapin us and he does a damn good job. And he plays two positions. KP is a Jayhawk so i can see him tryna get him.

yeah FUCK HEDO. soft ass 6'10 bitch. i dont want any part in that bullshit, he'll get offers from teams paying him way too much. fuck blair too. kp has a plan, probably more like 10 plans. free agency is going to open up A LOT more options for us. if we dont make a move then though ill be pissed. the roster cant stay the way it is, something needs to happen
