Even up through the end of his UW days, Brandon Roy was not hard to find on most nights between 8 and midnight. He was working on his game at St. Joe's Gym on Capital Hill.
About 5 or 6 years ago, a buddy of mine who played there regularly, declared Brandon Roy is going to play in the NBA and boy was he right. He's not just playing in the NBA, he's close to dominating the NBA.
ROy isnt a "dominator"...he is a TEAM player. Players like Kobe and Lebron who score 25+ a night and do flashy shit that make otehr players look completely embarrassed...is dominating. Nash getting 15 assists in a night...AND scoring 20+ points while throwing dimes that Peyton Manning may have trouble doing....is dominating. Howard getting 30 points and 15 boards in a third of his games played...is DOMINATING.
No, Roy is NOT dominating...he is being a GREAT team player and doing what Roy does best...leading.
I guess we have two different definitions of dominating, cause if he is finding those key players, hes still dominating in my eyes, like it was said up there, hes scored 20+ points 8 of these last 9 games... he's definitely 'sniffin' dominance

I said "all-star caliber players embarrassing someone at least once"..which Roy is...but a DOMNINATING player he is NOT. Stop twisting the words around to fit YOUR description.
Exactly...YOUR opinion. And who does Roy play for? Yes...YOUR team. Of course youre going to be biased.
Let me list some DOMINATING players in NBA history:
Jordan
Chamberlain
Magic
Bird
Dr. J
Jabar
So youre really going to sit there...and tell me that Roy is "close" to those players?
He aint even in the same class as LeBron, Melo, Duncan, and Kobe...how is he going to be in the same class as some of the all-time GREAT players in the NBA?
lol I said HES GETTING THERE, and HAS dominated games before, yeah dude, Im trying to say Roy is MJ, get real... Im not saying that. I aint twistin words around, and you didnt say AT LEAST once, so please stop twisting your own words.
