Every word in the preceeding paragraphs are lies.
lets see what type of acts of friendship have "Christians" generated for the jews since the year 0

well their was the friendly acts of the crusades (Mass Murder/Genocide/Arson/rape/robbery)
Their was the "Holy" Inquisition (Institutionalized Torture/Mass murder)
Lets not forget everyones favorit non existant event the Holocost (IndustrializedMass murder/Genocide/robbery/Torture/denial of humanity)
Not to mention all of the individual crimes of "Christians" In reprisal for the death of "Gods Son"

Its all in our heads the "Christians" are our friends.
Every claim you just made is ignorance....
Nothing but ignorance.

Are you inplying that the crusaders were Christians?
The Nazis were Christians too? The Inquisition?

When did the crusaders and Nazis recieve the Holy Spirit?
When did they accept Jesus Christ as their savior?
When did they love their enemies and prayed for them?
When did they turn the other cheek when struck on the face?
When did the Holy Spirit bare it's fruit through them?

You are ignorant when it comes to Christianity. If anyone comes close to hating another religious group, it's you.

While I'm at it, what do you know about the "Church Reformation"?

With your shallow mentality, all Muslims are terrorists,
All Christians are pedaphiles, all Mexicans are lazy, and all Blacks are drug dealers....

You see the common denominator here?
Ignorance bro....

You keep making ignorant accusations man.
The church doesn't hate Jews, even your fellow Jewish leaders admitted that. They said that not all Christians (what they perceive as Christians) hate Jews and that just like any religion or people, there are good ones and then there are bad ones. It's the bad ones that they fear....
It is people who will use any excuse to hate others, they are the source and not the religion.

That's why i asked you the questions that I did, all of that stuff is to be followed by a Christian. ANyone who doesn't, is not Christian.
Jesus said it himself and I think I said it in this forum or another,
"Not everyone who says LORD LORD will be saved"....
What do you think Jesus meant by that????

Is the Nation of Islam really Muslim just because they claim they are?
You are judging a religion by what you pick from certain individuals who claim they are Christian.
If I were to judge all Jews from the experiences I've had with actual Jews I would say that they are some self centered assholes. Very selfish, and very cheap people.
But I look at the world from a broader perspective.
I don't see it like that....
Your "America loves Indians" is a bad example nor does it make any sense. Early would-be Americans killed the Indians, how do all of today's Americans support the slaughter of an entire race?

Watch the movie, Mel never said nor did he give the impression in his movie that all Jews are guilty of Jesus' death.
Look at the hypocrisy of that statement, Jesus was a Jew, his followers and his mother were Jews. The foundation of Christianity is Jewish, how can any Christian hate their own foundation? It makes no sense but only in the corrupted mind of a brain washed person. A person who's been lead to believe that Christians are his enemy....

I see what your proplem is bro,
you can't tell the difference between a true Christian, and a wanna-be....

@RX you're cool peeps and all but you're on something else pimp. I won't even go into it.

@Migg the same goes for you. cool peeps but you're on something else.

Migg I'm not going to address everything this time. I'll only address certain points. You said:

"How can history and canon prove me wrong when I never made that accusation?"

Compare that with the following statement you made:

"And "Galileans" is just like "Nazarenes", doesn't sound like a title for a religious belief. They sound like titles given to people who were from those cities/towns."

Now do you understand why I typed what I did?

"Let me borrow some of your comments here again, maybe my reasons aren't good enough to you beause "you are hell bent" on denying that the disciples/apostles weren't labeled as Christians?"

Why would I be hell bent on denying that when I've said they were called "christian" apprx TEN times now?!!? WHAT I SAID IS THEY WERE CALLED "CHRISTIANS" DURING A SPECIFIC TIME PERIOD, RECEIVED THE NAME AT A SPECIFIC PLACE AND RECEIVED THE NAME FROM A SPECIFIC GROUP OF PEOPLE. The FIRST/EARLY followers of christ were NOT labeled/called christians until YEARS AFTER his death. When Yeshua was on earth his followers were NOT called christians because the name/term had not been applied to the people. WHY IS THIS HARD TO GRASP???????? Honestly migg I could care LESS about what you "THINK". I'm more concerned about what you KNOW. YOU WILL NOT FIND A SCRIPTURE IN THE *BIBLE* THAT SAYS (example)

"AND THEY WERE CALLED FOLLOWERS OF THE WAY WHEN JESUS CONVERTED THEM"

Because you can't find something in the bible DOESN'T mean it can't be found or wasn't recorded. As I said before RACA (RACCA) is in the bible. What it means and why it shouldn't be used is NOT explained. Because no explanation is given should we assume it has no meaning or origin? OF COURSE NOT.

LOL I see where you get that. But I was basically tryin to say what you said about Jews and how they were identified as Jews by both belief and as a people.

I understand what you are sayin nor do I disagree with it. (remember, I'm on your side)
I'll let this go for now as I have some catching up to do, but let me put it like this;
You can do all the research you want, have all the facts and evidence you need, but unless you haven't humbled yourself, your decision means nothing. I am not speaking about you but people in general. A man can be addicted to his own ideas to the point that even the truth won't change his mind.
Like I said before, the key is to humble yourself.
(There's plenty of examples through out these boards on how bad an ego can blind a man)....

Peace bro....

First of all I don't have any fellow jewish leaders exept maybe adam yagger.Secondly I never said I hate christians, The families of most of my best friends are christian & I love them. I said that the christian church hates me. Why because Its true.

You on the Jews: "I would say that they are some self centered assholes. Very selfish, and very cheap people."<-not just your perspective the perspective of the christian church.

Forgiveness
Just as jesus will not forgive all who cry out lord lord will he not forgive those who ask for forgiveness for their actions and truely mean it. So if the Crusader of inquisitor or nazi asks for forgiveness and is truely repentant it will be granted to him by the christian church who gave him the providence to enact his tyranny to begin with.

Would you be damned if you killed a man trying to burn down your church? This is the perspective of the Nazi/Inqisitor/crusader who only saught to protect good christians from people who "are some self centered assholes. Very selfish, and very cheap people." They are forgiven by your christian church but neither them nor the church itself will ever be forgiven by the jews. They are not deserving. Because Christians have all of these rules you named five of them. But they are not obligated to follow them and they don't.

That is not my perspective, maybe you would have that perception if you were in my shoes but I don't think like that.

Now when you say that perspective is also from the Christian Church, which church are you reffering to? Which denomination?

As far as this so-called church forgiving murderers etc....
Who cares whom they forgive, it is up to God to judge these people, not us. Certainly you cannot support nor condone the actions of these people and he who does is no different than them. They too have to face the wrath of hell....

Read the New testament and try to understand it from Jesus' perspective. If you understood his philosophy then you would already know the answer to the questions you just asked me.
Would I be dammed if I killed a dude tryin to burn my church?
Hell yes....

And you would also understand that a disciple of Christ "MUST" follow the 5 rules I gave you. They are obligated indeed, otherwise Jesus has warned them that they are playing with fire and if they don't change they will get burned.
Understand the philosophy behind that.
Your assumption that Christians are not obligated to follow the Word of Christ speaks a thousand words. You do not understand the scripture.... And let me add that one who does follow the rules laid out by Christ doesn't automatically get a ticket.
Read the scripture, these things aren't even rules to begin with.
Understand that one must be born again/wash the sins away in order to recieve the Spirit. And it is this Spirit that changes us, thus making us true Followers. One cannot just follow the teachings of Christ out of fear of hell. What is the point if you're not doing good deeds out of the kindness of your heart?
That is why Jesus time and time again stressed that God knows your heart. He judges you by what's in your heart and not what you do and say. Read the scripture regarding the many times Jesus would scold the Pharisees and Sadducees of his time for being such hypocrites. Now compare them to the so-called Christians of today and they are just as big as hypocrites.
Like I tell my mom, if Jesus returned today he would bitch slap every Christian denomination for not following the Word....

@migg I agree with your posts (especially teh last one) 100%. I had an aim discussion with SGT.HUSTLE about the return of jesus. She mentioned it I didn't. When we talked we discussed how people were looking for a specific messiah the first time. They wanted a king and someone to free them from Roman opression. What are the people looking for now? What do they expect? Some guy coming from the clouds, looking like a hippy and holding a lamb on his shoulders? From what the scriptures show the second coming won't be peaches & cream and thats what the average church promotes.

@RX I have a couple of questions for you.

1. Do you practice Judaism? If so are you an orthodox or reformed Jew?

2. I don't consider "jews" to be a race or nationality of people. I consider HEBREWS as a race/nationality. If you're "HEBREW" which tribe do your people trace to?

3. What are your views on the Jews involvement with the slave trade of Afrikans? It's common knowledge Sephardic jews colonized Brazil. It's also common knowledge they used slaves for sugar crops. Can you elaborate?

Heresy,
preach on bro. There is a reason why she approached you with the question.

As for Jesus' return, its this simple;
He was a Lamb the first time, he will return as a Lion....
I just hope our Jewish brothers don't mistake the BEAST for the Messiah. As we know, the Beast comes before the Lion....

#1 I don't have a religion so no Im neither so you could interperet everything I say about jews as being from the perspective of a spiritual Goyim
#2 I had to ask my grama she said her father was a Kohzar (Central Asian near Azerbiajan people who converted to judiasm and her mother was hebrew but she is not sure which tribe. Both groups migrated to Belarus in the diaspara.
#3 I think that any one who would enslave a human being forfeits their humanity so if their would have been a holocost on jewish slave traders I would have liked to be a shower attendant.
If you want to you could start a thread about #3 I'll participate.
I hope this answers your Questions

I just spent the last half hour reading through most of this thread. Looking at most of the responses it looks like Mel Gibson did two things:

1: Start an intresting dialouge about the life and brutal death of Jesus Christ and start conversation on the impact it has on our religous views and personal beliefs.

2: Make a film thats nearly bullet proof from critics and have it make a crap load of money.

I like the fact the Mel chose to make a movie about this touchy topic. He could have just gone on a Promise Keepers promo tour around the country and get number one out of the way. It makes me wonder why he went through all the trouble to preserve the authenticity of the beating scenes and crucifixion, instead of just going on the Gospel Power Hour and talking about his faith in christ? Could it be as simple as he can make a lot more money from releasing a movie about Jesus on an a ash wensday , then getting a portion of the offering plate on any given sunday morning in any chruch? Or could it be that he knew that having shocking images on screen is a guaranteed blockbuster ie: BraveHeart, Leathal Weapon movies. I guess my main point is that in a way I feel Mel is pimping belivers into seeing this movie. I wont say that its right or wrong to go see it, but every time I see a movie I like to have the film makers intentions in mind. Does Mel really wanna educate us about Jesus or just line his already fat pocket?
