Many People overlook team molding. I know it's already been 8 games and the giants have sucked. I truly Believe, and I will say this until Mid-season, that when the Giants get hot watch out. When they finally see which young players to put in, and when the Pitching Settles. The Giants may not make the playoffs, but they sure will be spoilers when the teams has finally settled and molded.

why isnt Shierholtz getting PT? Wasnt he hitting .380 in the limited games he played last year? He looks like a legit contact hitter from what I've seen
He didn't make the opening day roster because Lewis and Davis are out of options (both most likely wouldn't have through waivers without being claimed)...He would've got called up to take Roberts' roster spot, but he apparently injured his foot a couple of days ago (fouled a ball off of it)...

Man Shierholtz to me has the potential to be Matt Holliday with Less Power. SERIOUSLY! Nate if given playing time, can be that 3 or 4 hitter, THE GIANTS CAN USE AS OF NOW. Not saying he's our power guy, but I believe The Rowand Signing was Stupid. Our Outfield show be LF Shierholtz, CF Rajai Davis, RF Winn. Man I still can't get over the fact they signed Sabean. LOL dudes a Joke. He went from being the best GM from 2000-2003, to the Worse LOL!!!

LoL

Big Mistakes, 2003, was done with by Pitching and Barry Bonds. Early Season Success from Marquis Grissom and Ray Durham. Mistake not re-signing Jeff Kent and Trading away Russ Ortiz.

2004, Bullpen Issues, actually one of the Best Offenses, mistake made, not going after bullpen and Vladamir Guerrero, Signing Michael Tucker and Scrubs >=(

2005 LOL!!!!

2006 LOL!!!!

2007 LOL!!!!

2008 This is like 1996-1997 to me. To actually see homegrown Players play. Eugenio Velez and Nate Schierholtz are on the List of Giants Youngsters to watch.

they should bring up Villalona already and see what he can do. He's been compared to A-Rod, and at 18 years old he's 6'3" 210lbs with 30+ homer potential
Now, Pare, he's not ready believe me. They'll be rushing him if they get him in the bigs. He's only 17 pare. Not Ready. At Least 19-20 Years he'll be somewhat ready.

MLB Rumors said:
Sources: Giants To Acquire Johnson

According to one highly placed AL executive, the Giants and Athletics are in the final stages of a deal that will send Dan Johnson to the Giants for two minor league prospects. The Athletics recently desiginated him for assignment, giving them ten days to trade him, so this deal is inevitable. The Giants are pretty desperate, so the Athletics might be able to get two pretty solid prospects for them. Johnson, who is a career .249 hitter, has great power and would probably do well in a switch to the NL and to that stadium. However, the Giants offense is struggling to score, forcing their best hitter Rowand to bunt runners over into scoring position. I do not know what kind of protection Johnson will provide for Rowand, but maybe he would help put a couple wins in the win column. I expect a deal to be completed by tomorrow or Friday.
Thoughts?

Beane will likely rape Sabean if they make a deal. Not only does Sabean make horrible decisions anyway, but now he's desparate.

Also, Johnson... "Great" power? He MIGHT hit 20-25 if he plays a whole season but it's kind of an unknown...
