Portal was never marketed as a stand-alone game experience. Portal was a college project. I played portal through the Orange Box... So I had 4-5 games in one cheap fuckin' package when I played Portal. It was the low end of the totem pole on a disc that contained some classic, full length games.
And who the fuck wants to dl content for a game that already has a sequel? I'm not trying to hold on to an old ass game so long that I'm still paying for downloads to justify its existence, while I'm beating its predecessor. Fable 2, you can buy right now on Platinum Hits with all dlc included for like 30 bucks, and that game was the shit out of the box.
