My PS3 shitted out on me. I think it's the power supply. So that leaves me with a mostly completed Skate (I was killin' that shit online) and a 40-50% completed Red Dead.
So that makes 4 360's and one PS3 that I've gone through.
I really can't handle this shit happening anymore. It's fuckin' devastating to lose all that data and shit, not to mention the money you have to drop every time. And aside from video games and movies, I don't exactly have too many hobbies. So losing my PS3 kills my dvd's/Blu-Rays/Games/Netflix. I don't even watch tv.
I wish to god these companies weren't so fucking big, so you could actually go back to them and throw their consoles through the fuckin' window and make a statement. It's useless to call feedback lines, or go back to Gamestop. They don't give a fuck about the hours you've put into these games or how much money you've spent. This shit should be considered extortion, as Sony went so far as to say that they want PS3's be around for a decade.
Well if they're supposed to be around 10-11 years then why do they only seem to last 2 and a half years before they yellow light on you? I opened that piece of shit, and the amount of dust in there is ludicrous. I don't give a fuck how many times a day you vacuum that shit out, because no vacuum would ever have been able to take all that dust out of there. There were dustballs in places that don't even make any fucking sense.
I get so frustrated when this shit happens, that I have seriously contemplated throwing bricks through Gemestop/EB's. If Sony/Microsoft doesn't want to be held responsible for selling trash to people at hundreds of dollars a shot, I don't see why the retailers who make no effort to offer you a warranty, or any real help for that matter shouldn't suffer. When people start dropping off their paperweights outside of stores and giving them shit, perhaps companies will demand a better product for their customers.
After all... in the end it is Gamestop that is selling me the fucked products. Why do people continue to complain about the shit they can't change (Microsoft/Sony) and go complain to a real life person who will work hard to not get punched in the mouth for selling bullshit next time.
I'm pretty sure it's cheaper to RTV a product than it would be to replace a plate glass window in the front of your store. Things need to start fucking changing. I'm sick of having Microsoft and Sony digging through my pockets for money to replace shit that didn't work properly in the first place, with more shit that doesn't work properly in the first place.
