hines ward is the only receiver i would be okay with the raiders going after, purely for the veteran standpoint and the history of winning.

word is that kam will be released thursday. and im not mad one bit about him getting shown the door.

Boss was a good blocker too, and he liked to block.....don't really like this move but hopefully Ausberry & Myers step up....it's another TE also, I forget.....

Palmer mentioned Ausberry as being one of the young talented weapons on offense in an interview if I am not mistaken. Ausberry should be the starter next year. I think we are going to be allright even after cleaning house.

Gordon is the other young te we have on the roster. Marcel reese lined up as a te a few snaps last season.
Props again for reggie mack for handling these contracts serious.

With no money and no draft pics how are we gonna field a defense?

I dont think hines ward will come to oakland cause we aint got shit to pay him. Hes dirty though, definetly would fit in as a raider, i could see him and murphy getting along.

As for moss going to the niners, I could care less, cause smith cant go deep. Hopefully he is a crybaby in the locker room like he was here once he knew playoffs were out of the question.

Raiders starting right guard Cooper Carlisle and defensive tackle John Henderson were cut by Oakland Wednesday, with Henderson failing his physical.
Carlisle, a starter for the past four years, was due $3.3 million in salary and his release saves a reported $2.1 million against the salary cap. Henderson was due $4 million in salary.
The Raiders could move to bring back Carlisle at some point, given his experience with the zone blocking system which will be re-introduced this season under offensive coordinator Greg Knapp and line coach Frank Pollack.
The moves give the Raiders maneuverability should they attempt to sign free agents. Oakland's room under the $120.6 million salary cap was an NFL low $636,000 at one point according to ESPN, although those figures remain fluid as contracts are jettisoned or restructured.
In other news, unrestricted free agent running back Michael Bush has reportedly lined up visits with the Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago Bears.

Why would Bush sign with Chicago if he wants to be a starting RB? No way he's taking Matt Forte's job. He has a better chance of getting playing time in Oakland due to McFadden always being hurt
