Well, the Raiders had 4 mil space
-2 mil for CJs salary in 09
+2.3 mil for cutting Curry
-2 Mil for Lechlers salary in 09
+7.2 Mil if they cut Kwame
-11.97 Mil Franchise Tag for Aso
So With that they would be 2.47 Mil over the cap, with no money to sign their picks....
The Raiders are reportedly showing heavy interest in free agent Jerry Porter and are likely to sign him soon.
Porter clashed with Oakland coach Art Shell in 2006, but had an OK contract year in 2007 before busting in Jacksonville last season. He shouldn't cost more than the minimum and the Raiders lack much experience at wideout.
NFL.com Blogs Blog Archive Will Porter be back in Raiders black? couldnt be any worse than javon walker but this makes me wonder what they are gonna do with that 7th pick
