Nah it wasnt my bad about that anyway DeAngelo Hall counts $5m in dead money after being cut
WR Javon Walker has a $5m roster bonus due next month. He’ll actually collect it because of an injury guarantee and his cap hit is $14m if they cut him. OT Robert Gallery will have to rework his deal to shave off his $9.2m cap charge.
lol....like raider fans have been saying....al is a cap geniues :hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt::hurt:

It takes both the team and the players to do that..... Im not too sure if the players would, they know if they get cut, they get the money, and can sign elsewhere

When the Raiders re-signed cornerback Chris Johnson last week, the numbers weren’t disclosed by the team.

But the reality in such situations is that, when the deal is regarded by the agent as something worth bragging about, the numbers tend to get leaked.

If the numbers aren’t leaked within 24 hours after word of the deal breaks, it’s safe to assume that maybe it wasn’t all that good of a deal.

Johnson, who became a starter after DeAngelo Hall was dumped midway through the 2008 season, pocketed only $4 million guaranteed on a four-year contract.

Specifically, Johnson received a $4 million signing bonus on the four-year deal. His base salary for 2009 is $2 million. In 2010, Johnson’s base salary increases to $2.6 million. He’ll earn a base salary of $3.2 million in 2011, and $3.6 million in 2012.

The average is $3.85 million per year. It’s not chump change, and maybe he might not have found a better deal on the open market.

But given that he was only two weeks from hitting the market, why not at least try?

The Oakland Raiders will soon be parting ways with one of the only wideouts on the roster with any significant experience.

According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Raiders are expected to release receiver Ronald Curry.

Per NFLPA records, Curry was signed through 2011, at a base salary of $3.5 million this year. Per Schefter, the net cap savings will be $2.3 million.

Schefter also points out that the Raiders will save $7.2 million in cap space if they dump tackle Kwame Harris.

We don't need them mf's anyway. Curry is too slow, he doesn't create any kind of seperation and when he does, he drops the ball.

And Kwame? Man I'd be surprised if any team signed him. He'll probably just be a scrub from now on. He had to be the worst offensive linemen I've ever seen play. If he's not jumping offsides, he's getting manhandled, missing blocks, and getting his qb's killed. I wonder whose decision it was to bring him here...
