one thing I'm noticing with our offense is we're not running the ball hardly at all

looking at the stats we had a total of 11 rushing attempts the whole game, and only 8 were actually from RBs, one from Garcia, one from Russell, and one from Louis Murphy

are they just so confident in the running game that they feel they don't even need to hardly run the ball? Fargas had 0 carries yesterday, McFadden had 3, and Bush had 1

18 total rushing attempts against SF... 26 total attempts against Dallas

as the games went on we ran the ball less and less and the team looked shittier and shittier... obviously a big problem is with the defense, but I just noticed this

I'm gonna assume that we'll utilize our running game a lot more during the regular season, and that they really wanna focus on getting the passing game up to par, especially seeing how they left Russell in for so long yesterday

I'm really hoping and assuming that our gameplan will be much different when it comes to the regular season... Bush and McFadden need to be getting at least 10 carries a game, if you look at the games we won last season, our running backs were getting off in most of them

now the running backs are not gonna make up for that horrible defense

man shit did not look good yesterday, but after thinking about it thank god its preseason. last couple of years raiders do good in preseason and get our hopes up, i really hope they care this year and take yesterdays beating personal.

^^I think they are confident in running the ball, just testing the waters with passing attack while in the preseason, best time for it. And Jamarcus hasnt really done anything wrong, if anything its your offensive line that needs work and must improve from last year.

and defense was horrible so far, don't know how much they can fix that in the next game and be ready for the regular season.

if you look back to last preseason it's almost identical to this one so far

last preseason, first game was against the niners, we won, fairly easily, looked pretty solid... had some flaws, but overall looked good

this season, same thing with Dallas

second game last preseason we lost to the Titans in a really close game... this season we lost to the niners in a really close game

third game last season we got completely destroyed by Arizona at home... this year we get completely destroyed by New Orleans at home

Maybe the Raiders abandoned the running game because the Saints scored alot of points very early. Or yeah, they also could be just trying to get passing reps in.

they really dont gameplan for preseason games. i mean they do have plays they want to run, but dont really prepare for the other teams strengths like they would in a regular season game. we need to pound the rock atleast 30 times a game to be successful.

our offense is getting there.. the running game is there, the passing game needs a little more work but will get the chemistry goin by week 2-3 ( i hope )

the defense is fucken awful. kelly is a bum that hasnt done anything worth that ridiculous contract in his carrer, morrison and howard are alright not good not completely bad but not getting the job done, they would probably be backups in any other team..

i hope they dont have another ass whoopin on opening night like theyve had the last 3-4 seasons.. cable will probably get fired halfway into the season..
