i just checked that idiots stats he claimed.

monta is 6th in points per game with 26.2

and 9th in points per 48 minutes with 30.7

he used a great example in a player having one of his best years in a perfect system/team for him, jamal crawford, a guy who is instant offense off the bench similar to maggette-- another guy he used to compare.

yet Monta is ahead of Crawford and Harrington anyways, in points per 48. Maggette is number 7 in points per 48 with 32.2

quit comparing numbers on a piece of paper or go work at h&r block

Seriously that guy is a hater. Sure you can score more points the longer you are playing, but it gets tougher to score since you've already exhausted so much energy playing all game. Humans aren't machines that can keep producing at a constant rate.

not only that but his info is incorrect. i looked at nba.com's stats.

points was wrong.

shooting percents was wrong.

effeciency was wrong.

Ellis's efficiency is on par with many of the leagues best players, rondo is slightly ahead of ellis while ellis is ahead of kg and many others.

i hate hollinger. he bashes monta and the warriors way too much. he said maggette should be a all-star over monta.

and i dont like how that fucker applies stats to games. i mean basic shit like points, etc. but he has a fuckin math formula. shits gay. anyone who watches the warriors know monta is legit. and how is he overrated if he didnt even make the allstar team?

@DubbC415 Morrow = young ray allen?
Unfortunately, no. I think Morrow is a better pure shooter, but he's never gonna take 650 3's in a season like Ray Allen did. Ray Allen is more like Reggie Miller, perimeter guard with decent defense and the willingness to dish the rock when he's not open. He can also drive better than Morrow probably will ever be able to, and handle the ball better. I know Morrow is a face up shooter but i think he will get worlds better by working on a post move, back to the basket, and turning around with a fadeaway. Morrow still has to create his own shot and is best when someone gets him an open look.

Corey Maggette (finger) said his finger is feeling better and he hopes to be available for next Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
This is the first positive news to emerge from what appeared to be a very painful dislocated finger last Saturday. It's still too early to know if Maggette will play next week, but it's good to hear that his condition is improving. Stay tuned for updates over the All-Star break.

Monta Ellis (knee) will not play Wednesday against the Clippers.
An MRI on Tuesday revealed that Ellis' knee injury is a mild sprain, so owners can expect him to return before long. But C.J. Watson is expected to start Wednesday's game in Ellis' place, while Stephen Curry and Anthony Morrow should also see a bump in their minutes.

10. DA do you have any word on Chris Cohan selling the Warriors to Larry Ellison (or any other competent millionaire)? The rumor was hot a month ago. (@theMercyRule -- The Hoop Doctors)

David Aldridge: Larry Ellison has been trying to buy the Warriors for five to six years now. And he's still trying to do it, it's just a matter of finding a price that Chris Cohan is comfortable with. I know that the league would very much like Larry Ellison to buy that team obviously as a guy with a lot of not only money but interest. You want people who are interested in running the basketball side of things and I think that's just a matter of when, not if that gets done.
