maggettes contract is pretty fair, especially what hes doing this season.

he was worth it last year too. shooting 50% for a season isnt easy for players that arent centers.

and if u look at some of the contracts around the league, it makes maggette look like chump change.

andrei kirilenko makes double for example, and he is a bum. stojakavic makes 14 mill, and is a big reason why the hornets suck, dude is a bum.

larry hughes makes what chris paul makes, a little over 13 mill.

just sayin tho, 8 mill really isnt that much for a quality player. his minimum is probably 5-6 mill that he qualifies for.

but its because everyone is in a frenzy trying to unload cash for the free agent market, that his 3 years left are unattractive. also it goes up to nearly 11 mill, which is a bit much.

a fair contract for maggette would have been 8 mill flat for each season.

yeah, Maggette's contract isnt that bad (because of his performance) compared to some other bums around the league. but really though...i woulda just offered Baron Davis an extension rather than sign Maggette at that time. cant really complain about the Warriors this season with all these injuries...im just waiting to see what the fuck Riley does with all these expiring contracts.

mullin reached an extension with baron, cohan declined.

i kno kawakami is a hater, but he does have a point on some things. and at least he will call them out on it.

in the end, maggette has been a better player than baron. baron has came back solid this year tho, but was awful the years before.
