Your right, it seems like refs make calls for non-calls and whoever gets the last call wins the game. The refs get to decide the outcome more then the players do.

But Warriors fans have a right to be annoyed with this. 2 years, might be 3 years now, this same thing happened in a Warriors/Wizards game. And because of that one game, the Warriors miss the playoffs by a game.

Those calls are debatable and shouldnt have been made in the last minute though.. The one call the refs should've made was giving Maggette the timeout when he had possession of the ball and clearly called timeout before he got wrapped up for a jump ball. That irritated me more than the final foul call.

The Warriors/Wizards game you are referring to actually happened the year the W's made the playoffs. However the W's were screwed the following year against the Lakers when Fisher tackled Monta on the final play when the W's were trying to inbound the ball and the foul was called on Monta.

yeah, that shit was horrible. after that Lakers game it seemed like the Dubs took that loss so hard they started losing alot of the remaining games. i think they were only 1 or 2 games behind Denver(?) for the 8th spot

oh well, the best thing the Dubs can do this year is get enough wins for Nelson's record. once he's gone then everything should start looking nice

I DON'T TAKE THE NBA SERIOUSLY, IT'S OBIOUS THERE IS CONSPIRICYS AND FAVOR TOWARDS MORE POPULAR TEAMS, TAKE AWAY KOBES BULLSHIT CALLS AND LET SOME PLAYERS ACTUALLY PLAY D ON HIM AND HE OR THE LAKERS WOULDN'T BE AS GOOD, YOU GIVE ELLIS SOME OF THAT TREATMENT THAT KOBE GETS AND ELLIS WOULD GET LIKE 40 POINTS ALMOST EVERY NIGHT

Your right it was the same year.

Now that think it about, that call didnt fuck up their season it, it actually helped them. They tied with the Lakers for 7th, Lakers held the tie-breaker, so the Warriors got the 8th seed. That helped the Warriors because they got to play the Mavericks (1st seed) instead of the Suns (2nd seed).

interesting stat was just mentioned about brandon jennings, he has only shot 40% or better in 4 games since thanksgiving....

i bring this up since people in this thread felt like jennings is better than curry

meanwhile curry continues to improve and is a much more complete player. his shot and offense is starting to get rolling.

CURRY MIGHT BE A BETTER POLISHED PLAYER RIGHT NOW BUT JENNINGS HAS A LOT MORE POTENTIAL THEN CURRY U CANT DENY THAT
id say the opposite, curry has a higher ceiling

curry can develop into a premier point guard like CP3 or DWill

i see jennings as an iverson type of player

jennings is more of a scoring pg ala gilbert arenas.

curry is more of a pass first pg with a shot ala nash

both are allstars

and jennings defiently has a higher ceiling with his age and quickness

those 5 months on curry are huge (idiot)

you compared curry to nash, except curry already has better defense than nash... imagine a steve nash with quality defense. curry is also bigger and rebounds well for a guard.

the next step for curry is to gain weight/strength.

sure jennings is a little quicker, but its not like curry is morrow slow.

in the end, curry is more skilled and much more complete. he is also a very smart player, high basketball iq, and high awareness. playing smarter more than makes up for the slight quickness jennings has over him.

i thought jennings was 19 and curry was 21?

Curry: Born: Mar 14, 1988 - Akron, Ohio

Jennings: Born: Sep 23, 1989 - Los Angeles, California

How about 18 months and 9 days apart. not 5 months. again stfu and stop arguing with me on facts cus I know mine and you dont know shit

my bad, i seen jennings was 20 and curry was 21. congrats on counting the days

either way, less than a 2 year difference isnt much. its nearly the same, they both rookies in the nba. we'll see how they both hold up over time.

and nash does have better D right now cus curry fouls out alot, nash rarely does if ever. he's got potential to better on D he just aint there right now.
as a rookie, curry's de has been greatness. most rookies, especially undersized/understrengthed players dont have de at all. his de is there and it will keep getting better.

nash doesnt have better de. the only de thing nash does better on de is drawing charges.

fouling out isnt necessarily a bad thing, it usually means a player has been active and trying to make a play. but without watching the game and knowing what the foul was its a stupid stat to look at.

curry is a rookie and will earn respect from the refs, but playing on the warriors doesnt help.

its really hard to add one year (full year difference) plus another 6 months the difference in months born and 9 days from curry's bday (14) to get jennings (24). its really simple. 12 months + 6 months + 9 days = 18months and 9 days. simple math, u should learn it sometime.
