from ESPN Insider Rumors:
Maggette sticking point for Warriors?
5:36 PM ET Corey Maggette | Warriors Top Email
Last month, there was a lot of chatter about the Warriors looking to deal, and deal a lot. But beyond cutting Mikki Moore today, the Warriors have been quiet on the transaction front.
But there could be a reason for that. According to ESPN's Chad Ford, the Warriors are looking to dump Corey Maggette's albatross of a contract (he's owed around $10 million a year for the next three seasons after this one), in conjunction with someone like an Anthony Randolph, and that could make it hard to swing a deal.
Ford writes in his chat today that Randolph is not likely to be dealt "unless the Warriors can get a team to take Maggette's contract too."
We asked ESPN's Ric Bucher for his take.

Problems bigger than personnel
"Sources say they continue to shop Corey Maggette and are willing to throw in Anthony Randolph to shed Maggette's contract and land a scoring big man. But their issue isn't personnel; too many players simply don't believe in the team's leadership. Maybe that would change if they landed Chris Bosh, but that's what it would take."
