it definitely wouldnt double but most likely a contender would end up wanting to add someone like him at the trade deadline but the problem with that is usually contenders dont want to give up much.

San Antonio, New Orleans and the LA Clippers have not had any conversations of substance with Golden State concerning Jackson. Cleveland definitely has interest, but is unwilling to give up Zydrunas Ilgausksas and is taking a "wait and see'' approach. Denver had interest but doesn't have the goods to get anything done.

While there's a possibility that something could happen soon, the Warriors have been told by several teams that the market for Jackson could improve after Dec. 15, when players who signed as free agents this past summer are able to be traded. Golden State's thinking is that the market could be even better near the Feb. 18 trade deadline.

While the Warriors are looking to trade Jackson, they are taking a patient approach. They're not going to give him away for chump change, even if it means keeping him the entire season. They realize he may act up from time to time, but they also believe that he's going to play his tail off whenever he's on the court, no matter how upset he is.

This is probably why Hella Numb made that post

Deadline deal likely for Jackson?

There were rumors that a Stephen Jackson trade was imminent, but according to ESPN's Chris Broussard, it's more likely Jackson won't be dealt until after Dec. 15, when free agents signed this offseason can be included in deals.

"While there's a possibility that something could happen soon, the Warriors have been told by several teams that the market for Jackson could improve after Dec. 15, when players who signed as free agents this past summer are able to be traded," he writes. "Golden State's thinking is that the market could be even better near the Feb. 18 trade deadline.

After making the most of his 10 minutes of play on opening night, Golden State forward Anthony Randolph has been rewarded with a starting spot, according to a person close to the team.

The 6-10 Randolph, who had 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block and 1 assist in Wednesday’s season-opening loss to the Houston Rockets, will start at power forward Friday at Phoenix, moving ahead of Wednesday’s starter Ronny Turiaf.

The Warriors refused to comment on the lineup change, saying no decision would be made until Friday morning.

Randolph, who butted heads with Nelson as a rookie last season, is one of the most tantalizing young talents in the league. Skilled enough to play everything from point guard to power forward, he averaged 7.9 points in 17.9 minutes a game last season, starting 21 of his 63 games.

yall a bunch of dipshits. it might not technically double? how can a trade value double anyways? but im saying we can get almost twice the value of offers for him then we are currently getting. yall a bunch of bitch ass warriors fans with no common sense. couple of you guys are coo on here but a majority of you guys are retarded.

if all the offers are garbage and not even close then when a trade goes down the warriors will feel like that value was worth it. so from going to no value to enough value to make a trade would be soemthing like doubled.

if teams are raising the offer for him, then they feel his value increased or he is worth more then what they offered? or am i wrong?

YEH YOUR A DIPSHIT. YOUR TRYING TO PROVE A POINT WHEN THERES NUTHIN TO EVEN BASE IT OFF OF. WHO IS RAISING THE OFFER FOR HIM? IF U HOLD HIM BY THE DEADLINE, U GET A CHANCE FOR SOME FOLKS WHO WASNT ABLE TO BE TRADED BEFORE WHICH MEANS THERES A CHANCE THERE WOULD BE MORE OFFERS, NOT THAT SOMEBODY IS UPPIN THE OFFER AND ADDING MORE TO GET JACKSON. U COULD HAVE ALL THE OFFERS IN THE WORLD, DOESNT MEAN THAT THEY WORTH SHIT. U SAID IF U HOLD ONTO HIM "HIS VALUE WILL DOUBLE" WHICH IS RETARDED AND WRONG. POINT BLANK PERIOD

Lol....

No one wants jacksons huge contract in this recession... Warriors have publicly stated they are gettin HORRIBLE offers. They won't trade him just to trade him. They actually want something in return. Jackson would be great for a contender, he's a good #3 or #4 go to guy.

Also I'm a blazer fan first. I got love for the warriors. And i pay attention to the NBA very closely so miss me wit those bitch ass comments.

We all know what u said. It was a stupid remark. Just move along. No need to get butt hurt.
