Corey Maggette is expected to have an MRI on his injured hamstring.
It's not yet known when the MRI will take place, but the Brandon Roy situation reminds us how tough hamstrings can be. Maggette wasn't traded at the deadline but he's likely looking at missing some games.

Monta Ellis went through a light practice on Thursday and is still listed as "day-to-day."
It's not often that an athlete can visit Dr. James Andrews and live to tell the tale, but Ellis appears to have done that. Consider him questionable for Friday's game against Utah and expect to see more of CJ Watson. Don Nelson isn't one to ease guys back into roles off injury.

y'all don't get it

no top tier players want to come play for the warriors because it's ALL YOUTH!!! and because of Don Nelson

they needed a proven mid-tier player (16 to 18 pts a game) to kind of entice some of the big free agents that will be available...

but Baysick, if i see you, you better be read to catch the fade for that "stupid jew" shit...Chris ain't got nothin to do with it

u really think having a mid tier vet player is the deal breaker? not even close buddy. depending who it is, money, winning, marketing, location. none of those the warriors got especially when competing against other teams who have capspace. the knicks suck but they have a better chance at getting a big player/players cuz free agents know they could get 2 top tier younger players and location. its new york. nets even have a better chance. devin harris and brooke lopez, jus fill in the blanks. bulls have a better chance for a top free agent. they have enough for a max free agent now with derrick rose, deng, and noah in a big city with championships, and bigger market

for the warriors to get a top player, they had to trade for them and risk resigning with bird rights. they didnt do that. now they jus gotta wait for the youngins but while the warriors aint doin nuthin, all the other teams are gettin better

no, you dont get it. there are many factors in free agency. but the number 1 problem with the franchise is team management. and thats why players dont want to play here.

whatever bro, u can run around tryin to play captain save a jew or whatever the fuck kinda tip ur on. u prolly search the boards for anyone that even says the word jew. that shit had nothin to do with u or anything. i didnt invent the stereotype and i dont enforce stereotypes, but i do make jokes. meanwhile u prolly say some shit that could be construed the same way to someone else. quit being so sensitive, especially on the sicc and on the internet.

i didnt call u a stupid jew, i didnt call jews stupid. i also called him a fag retard, wheres ur sensitivity level on that?

chris cohan fits the jew stereotype perfect and if u dont see that then ur blind.

I wonder what the Warriors would be like if their 12 main guys were actually healthy...

There was like 18 potential starters in suits on the bench yesterday, lol ...

i forgot some people hated Buike in here. 14 pts, 5 rebounds, 1 block a game on 55% shooting (stats this year) while shooting well beyond the arc (45% in 74 games last year) and hes strong and can dunk. i dont see the reason for hate.

The funny thing about all of this hub bub about what the Warriors should do is that cats aren't respecting the fact that they have A LOT of potential talent and role players injured. So like I alluded to earlier, it's hard to say what moves you need to make when you don't even know what kind of team you have.

You can bring in all the high profile FAs you want, but they can get hurt too. Then what? lol

i've been the biggest Ellis advocate since the day he got drafted

but they should have taking the Mayo deal which would have given them around 20mil in capspace and would have put them in the front running for signing Chris Bosh in the offseason

Mayo isn't a scoring powerhouse like Ellis, not even close...but he's turning into a guy who can really shut down those bigger guards, and his D is just starting to develop...

....
so for now were fucked until the 2012 season unless we get the #1 overall pick(Hill to trade)
