i walked out of my job like 8 days ago and havent called them or anything since. i worked for two hours then clocked out and bounced, couldnt put up with the bullshit anymore. worked there like a year and 9 months. how fucked do you guys think i am in regards to my next job prospects not wanting me cause of walking out and not giving a fuck or even telling them why i quit?
they called me hella for like two days nothing since. they probably think i died or something lol, probably going to find a way to not give me christmas pay or possibly my last check

shoulda just quit atleast you can explain that to your next job as not childish

next time if you have a track record with a job just quit so you can add it as a resume
now you really cant even tell an employer what you were doing for the past two years unless you have a mouthpiece to back your 'i walked out' story up

lol i dont care man everybody loved me there and i was the core of the store, they can trash me all they want. im not going to put it on my resume but if they ask me what ive been doing ill say i worked there
i didnt get fired for stealing or some bullshit i just left cause all the new managers treated everybody like shit and there was even an investigation going on into them treating people unfairly and picking favorites

nah, its just my opinion on when ive walked out on a job, i never got fired either.
its like i really dont even give a fuck to ask you why you didnt just man up and say look, i quit...fuck yall, eat dick, im out
cuz i did the same shit and i thought i was the fucking man
i even stole hella shit before i left
and then years later,i thought how much more fun it would have been to just overkill my boss on shit talking then quit.
explaining my record (criminal) was harder....that might have been the problem

I worked for K-Mart for a few months in 2001. That place was insane because I had 7 bosses and they all ran me a different direction. If I didn't hop on what they were saying, I'd get in trouble. If I stopped doing what another one told me to do, I'd get in trouble. I was on my lunch break and my human resources manager started bitching at me because she thought I was on the clock and then began telling me how I was going to make up for my lazyness. I said "Fuck it." walked into her office, lit my red smock on fire and told her to have a nice day.
Anyway, back on topic.
I didn't wake up in time to go to a job fair that I was hoping to hit up. I live near a seasonal resort town and the pay is great considering what you do. Going to a job fair with a nice work record is basically a shoe-in to getting hired. I fucked around and didn't set my alarm.
