I read somewhere that most of that scene was done with makeup not CG. I think it was in an interview with the guy that played Gus. If im thinking about it later ill see if i can find the interview.

Wouldn't change the fact I think it still looks pretty corny either way and could have been executed better, but whatever. It's a very minor gripe as I've said a few times now.

Can someone explain to me what is so great about this show without spoiling the 4th season?

I am almost done with season 3 and still find this as unremarkable as I did after season one. Granted it is very good for non-premium cable, but this show is so damn slow. I feel like I could skip episodes 2-10 every season and not miss anything.

season 3 is a bit slow, but honestly if you don't like season 1 & 2, just stop watching. All though season 4 is badass and imo, my favorite season, since you hardly like anything you probably wont like 4 either, especially with all the spoilers in people's sigs I'm sure you already know what will happen

I'm not trying to knock the show. I'm just trying to figure out what I'm missing.

I like the idea of the show and I find it good enough that I keep watching, but I'm not like "Wow, this shit is the greatest!".

For example: I watch Mad Men. I can understand why people jock that show so hard. I have my criticisms of it, but I understand what it is people think is so great about it.

Breaking Bad though something just doesn't click.

huh. I have completely the opposite view. I've watched Mad Men and I have no clue on to why people think that show is so good. None whatsoever.

BB should be obvious. Great writers, great actors, great plot, keeps you guessing, etc etc etc

Just finished season 3 on Netflix last night, shit was intense best season so far IMO. I really thought Walt was gunna turn on Jessie, then I thought Jessie was gunna be a bitch and not kill gale. Great fuckin show
