I'm surprised at how well the Suns are doing so far. I figured they'd suck this year again. I think I'm the only Suns fan that would rather they tank this season and be in the sweepstakes for Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins or Julius Randle. With their current squad I just don't see them being a future powerhouse. They're probably be a 6-8 seed in the West playoffs but I just don't see them getting past the first round and making any noise. I think if they have a chance to grab one of those players in the draft they can be a powerhouse team in a couple of years.

They have 4 first round picks in next years draft but 3 of the picks are lottery protected.

Bledsoe and Dragic are have the potential and are capable of being Allstar caliber players but I don't see either ever being Superstars in this league. They have some pieces to work with... but they are still a player or 2 away from being able to compete with the NBA's elite teams. That's why I wanted them to tank it this year and get a top 3 draft pick. But maybe they could do something in Free Agency. I'd like them to package all those 1st round picks for a veteran player... a scorer. Unless those 1st round picks are lottery picks then I don't think they're as valuable as people think. They're all lottery protected except for their own and it doesn't appear that will even be a lottery pick unless they just collapse the all of the sudden the 2nd half of the season.

thought this was kinda interesting

David Harrison is having a hard time finding work due to what he believes was being too outspoken about marijuana use.
Harrison had previously been outspoken about his pot use and is having trouble restarting his NBA career after a five-game suspension for pot use. "They don't see me as a commodity. They kind of see me as a crazy person, I guess," said Harrison. "The Hunger Games is pretty much an anecdote of being an athlete. You show disdain for the government or the rules, they're going to make an example out of you the best they can, to teach the thousands of people watching on TV the lesson they're trying to teach you." There is no word on who will play Harrison in the next installment of The Hunger Games, but the 31-year-old hasn't played in the NBA since the 2007-08 season so fans don't need to waste the space in their memory banks on him.

Bulls send F Luol Deng to the Cavaliers for the contract of C Andrew Bynum, as well as multiple draft picks.
The Bulls get Bynum's contract, and will waive him soon to avoid paying his remaining $6.3 million salary, and will also get a future (likely first-round) pick via the Kings, as well as the Blazers’ 2015 and 2016 regular second-round draft picks, which were held by Cleveland. Additionally, if the Cavs are not in the Draft Lottery in 2015, the Bulls have the right to switch regular first-round selections with the Cavaliers. Deng should start at small forward immediately for the Cavs, sending Earl Clark to the bench, while Bynum is expected to be cut by the Bulls, making him an unrestricted free agent. The tank is on in Chicago, who we're guessing will now start Mike Dunleavy at small forward.

Paul sustained the injury with 6:43 remaining in the third quarter after coming around a screen and landing awkwardly on his right shoulder. He remained on the floor for a brief time and immediately headed to the locker room with Clippers trainer Jasen Powell.

have to gripe somewhere. kept jared sullinger on the bench in head to head league, and played miles plumlee. plumlee went for 6 points, 6 rebounds, and a block while Sullinger had the game of his life. 25 points, 20 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and a 3-pointer. He had 2 points and 5 rebounds going into the half.
