I think what someone on here said about the team losing fans when they moved to LA was right. Seems to be the only good explanation. You look at the niners and their team has been just as shitty for the same amount of time, but they seem to have a lot of old ass season ticket holders. I imagine the raiders lost a lot those old timers when they moved before.

To tell the truth, I'd prefer the team stays in Oakland. but I want to see the stadium full and the team get a new stadium to play in. that doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon in Oakland. meanwhile a new stadium is waiting to be filled in LA.

I completely agree, I think we lost a lot of fans when we moved to LA, but we probably lost some LA fans when we went back to Oakland. Same thing would happen if we moved to LA again. Basically moving the team from city to city is not good for the fan base overall. I wish we had never gone to LA, but it is what it is.

I think attendance would spike at first if we went to LA, but if the team struggles it will go down over time... then what? move back to Oakland. I don't think it would be great for the team overall, and obviously from a selfish standpoint I don't want it to happen.

Remember, part of the reason they came back to Oakland is because attendance was suffering in LA when the team began to struggle

To be honest I'm really not trippin much off a new stadium. The coliseum isn't great, but I don't have a problem with it, except for the team having to share with the A's for the early part of the season.
