Yea that list is accurate! Ofcourse some folks dont wanna admit it but sorry!! Clements was way over paid! He is a good corner but 80 million?? Hahahahahah!!! Sorry u dont build a team thats shitty by givin 1 good player 80 million!! Got Em!!!

Clements deserves to be on there, he definitely has not looked like one of the premier corners in the league this season and that is what he got paid all that money for.

You must not watch the games.

Clements is doing exactly what he is supposed to do. I don't even know why I'm bothering here.. If you watch the games, you know he's made a MAJOR impact in the secondary. Point blank. So, if someone's making such a big impact, how can they possibly be a "bust?"

Please.

I have watched niners games and I've seen clements make mistakes and get burned quite a few times. With that being said his play does not indicate that he is one of the top corners in the league, he's pretty good but he's not pro bowl caliber in my opinion.

Good enough in what sense? he 9ers are one of the worst teams in the league. Although the defense can take nearly as much of the grunt as the offense, that 80 million didnt really do a whole lot to improve a team that went 8-8 last year.

For one, this has nothing to do with Vick. We could sit here all day and list players that arent living up to their huge contracts...the list would be rahter large.

If 9er fans feel justified in the amount Clements is making/his on the fiel play, thats fine with me. It doesnt effect me in the slightest.

ANd here are some stats for you:

The 9ers rank 28th in the INT category in the league and boast one of the worst completion %'s against in the entire NFL.

I dont know the stats from last year, but those are pretty bad.

He is human and gets burnt, Champ Baily has gotten burnt. He's not going to be perfect because he gets paid 80 million dollars. He has to get 7 ints? LOL why is that the number that has to happen? He has 80 tackles so far with 3 games to go, thats worth the 5 million that they are paying him this year.

Our pass defense was 29th in 2006 and now 16th this year. He helped improve our defense and thats all that he was asked to do. He cant singlehandly shut down a whole offense.

Is he worth the 60 something million? I dont know, I would say he's a top 10 CB tho. He was paid what he was worth on the market. If it wasnt the niners some team would have paid him that.

Look at Julian Peterson. Was he worth that money? No, but there was a team that he was worth that much to.
