i read about the Trans Texas Corridor in a RollingStone magazine about 3 years ago...........but it wasn't called TTC and it was only going to benefit those living in Texas(along with freightliners). A connection between Mexico & Canada was never mentioned in the article, but i guess plans have changed significally ever since the article was published.
i personally don't think the fence will materialize..
The cost will be well into the billions and the proposed area in which they want the fence built has very harsh terrain..so it would b very difficult to construct..
For the person who said "the majority of immigrants arent value as workers"...your completely wrong...
if they weren't....there would b more done about the border..
@Blight...u seem to mirror the average dumb american who simply doesn't understand the motives around proposals and ideas..
saying a fence will deter ur so-called problem is very nieve and seems to only satisfy people calling for an immediate solution...just politics..sumthin to make the american people sleep better for the time being..
we r returning to a state of isolationism..."like screw everyone else"..."were americans"...LOL...
If the fence was ever built and was then compared to the Berlin Wall, which countries leaders do you think would assume the roles of Khrushchev, Ulbricht, Kennedy, Schabowski, and Honecker?
