get out the house...go to fam mart and support some local artists.The first thing i do when i touch down in dago is hit fam bam,been doing that since 89-91.There is alot of heat in dago.Mitchy slicks trigeration station rates one of the top spots...and thats even including Jay o felony and he had the def jam push..I have my own personal opinions on what Id like..or what i feel would help mitchy make the ultimate album..but thats for another discussion.I learned along time ago that when you go in business(no matter what business) everyone who dont have the heart/ambition/ or scared to take a risk to do it themselvesgonna say you should do this and you should do that.If for any reason you support Mitchy and artists like him is he is a dying breed.Someone who is gonna do him,not change with the seasons,not saying not to evolve,but too many carbon copies in the game cause we supporting all that other bullshit.
Either way for artists like mitch/mess...shit whoever is gonna have to change the marketing/sales...record stores are closing and with downloads less people are buying..thats a fact.Have to come down in price to push more units....I sometimes pass albums up when they are at $17 but when the album is $9.99 I scoop more shit then I intend to purchase..consumers want a deal and feel they got value....I aint been disappointed buying none of mitchys albums...I also have a grip of bay c.ds and tapes (at least 200-300 id say.)
