Can someone PLEASE explain what this thread is about?
I think the role of women in the future, or even now. Someone asked some good questions about how the roles of women may change if there's more traditional ladies out there.. I am not sure about the original purpose of the thread, but I hopped on when there were questions brought up about feminism and all that.

And how is all of this important?

My username could be "SuperDyke" or "CuntCasket" and I would still speak my thoughts. Though I wonder why you choose to attack her username and not her words?
Stop it. People identify themselves through all sorts of different sn's. And like most stupid women, MzThick chooses to objectify herself rather than express anything.

Chief feminist complaint against men in society is that they dehumanize women into sperm receptacles and incubators. That a woman's worth is her sex appealand that's that. Ever go into a chatroom? Men are sports teams, fast cars, and hobbies. Women are "CU-Tee" and "BigLIPS4U." It's sad and hilarious at the same time.

It's great to see MzThick breaking down the wall.

Maybe you didn't give her words any credit,
You mean the all caps misspellings and sentence fragments written in an obnoxious color font? Ever see the somethingawful parody of the Online Woman i.e. the idiot who types in incomprehensible Leet/Ascii speak. I think it was "Pretty Girl 2.0"

I won't argue, though I haven't been in many chatrooms. A woman chooses to dehumanize herself in those cases.. or it's a young girl. A screen name with risque tones to it may imply that to some people, but I think it depends on the conversation that person is in. Like with my name. I don't think I've had one remotely girlish name online, but it doesn't bug me if another girl does. ( If it's not blatantly sexual.)

But, yes, I have seen some weird screen names online. And, yes, it bugs me when their names are obviously meant to be suggestive and they can't form a coherent sentence. This in the case of blatantly sexual words in the name, and badly formed sentences..

I HONESTLY CAN GIVE 2 SHYTS( yes i misspelled it oh well kill me, now im a bad woman) ABOUT WHAT ANYONE THINKS OR HOW THEY JUDGE ME ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY MAKE THEIR DESCISIONS BASED ON A SCREEN NAME IN A PUBLIC FORUM...I DONT CHOOSE A NAME TO FULLY PREPRESENT MYSELF WHEN I THINK OF A NAME ...IF THAT WAS THE CASE, THERE WOULDNT BE ENOUGH CHARACTERS AVAILABLE...AND THE PEOPLE THAT LOOK AT MY NAME AND PRE-DETERMINE MY MIND, DEPTH, OR CHARACTER...ARENT PEOPLE I ENJOY INVOLVING MYSELF WITH ANYWAY...PEOPLE WILL DO THAT..WITH OR WITHOUT A SCREEN NAME TO GUIDE THEM..ITS JUST IN THEIR BLOOD TO BRING NEGATIVITY ON TO OTHERS...SOO...WITH THAT BEING SAID

LIKE I SAID BEFORE

DO WHAT YOU DO..THINK HOW YOU WANT AND COME TO YOUR CONCLUSIONS HOWEVER YOU CHOOSE TO COME TO THEM

IT HAS NOTHING (oops in proper grammer in a thread) TO DO WITH ME

Eh, this is spiraling downwards and I'll look bad either way. Might as well consent and say, " Ok then." If I push the issue, I'm being a woman and women do that. If I let it go, I'm admitting defeat. Is there a correct answer in this situation?(Which doesn't have a negative/bigoted tone to it?) Probably not.

Oh sorry MzThick, I didn't know that the siccness automatically assigned names to people. Errrrrr that's right, it doesn't.

You could have NAMED yourself anything under the rainbow. INDEPENDENT WOMAN, or 2Intelligent4U, or R-E-S-P-E-C-T. But the most important thing you want to express to the world is.......

your posterior.

And btw, I only began to form a judgement about you being a moron by your screenname. Your shitty writing and inability to spell sealed the deal.

MZ thick, I feel you about women have a choice about being an in home mother. bless some that do, and choose to raise their child instead of letting some daycare do it. nothing can equal a mothers love. but I didn't feel this quote.

"WHEN A MAN PHYSICALLY ASSULTS A WOMAN (whether it be his girl or anyone else) ITS USUALLY BECAUSE HE HAS LOST CONTROL OVER HER ..MAYBE SHE IS MOUTHING OFF AND WONT STOP AND MAKING HIM LOOK DUMB..OR WHATEVER MAY BE...." usually, muthafuckas dont know why a man would assult a woman. usually, people would have to just take a guess(not always a correct one). I seen many women attack men because they knew if that man hit them back, they could get him locked up. and it's usually pretty obvious who the cops will belive... a woman in tears with a bruise, or a man(especially a colored man).so in turn, I'd have to say>>>>>>when a man physically assults a woman, only two people truly know what went on.

So . . .

Some women chose to stay home and bring up the kids and clean the house and make dinner and all that. But that's an option (choice) not afforded to every family. It's only possible if the man is bringing home enough money to make it possible to economically support the family while the woman supports the family from home.

What about women that can't make the choice to stay home because they don't have that choice. They HAVE to work to help support the family. Are her options hurt by a "regression" of feminism? If there are women able to chose to stay home is the perception not changed so that many think all women should be staying home, thus the woman that can't stay home has limits placed on what type of work she can do? Gets looked at like why is she not staying at home taking care of kids and is out applying for a job?

. . . just wondering what the ladies feelings are on this or if it's bunk or whatever

P.S. it's good to see more women participating in this forum, making posts and droping their opinions.

NO YOUR RIGHT...LOOKING AT YOUR POST AND THE ONE BEFORE IT...WE KINDA GOT SO WRAPPED IN "STAYING HOME WITH KIDS IS BAD FOR YOUR RIGHTS" THAT WE FORGOT HOW ESSENTIAL IT IS TO RAISING A CHILD RIGHT. WHEN I DECIDE TO HAVE KIDS, I HOPE IM BLESSED WITH THE OPPURTUNITY TO EASILY MAKE THE TIME TO RAISE THEM RIGHT...

AND THE WOMEN THAT ARENT BLESSED WITH THAT OPPURTUNITY ARE IN A HARD SITUATION..I KNOW IVE HEARD ALOT OF PEOPLE WITH BAD PASTS SAY THEY HAD TO DO WHAT THEY HAD TOO TO HELP MOM OUT WHILE SHE WORKED TWO JOBS TO RAISE THE KIDS AND STILL DIDNT HAVE ALOT OF MONEY. SO....

GOOD POINT

PS:THANKS ON THE PS

My mother wanted to be a stay at home mom. To raise me and take care of the house while dad worked. Then he lost his job, and it become finanically impossible for her *not* to work. So she had to ask my grandmother ( her mother ) to come and watch me while she went to work and dad worked little odd jobs here and there.

This same mother of mine always bitches about stay at home moms, and says how easy they have it. Different worlds and different views. I've heard stay at home mom's say how they'd love to work part time to get away from their house and kids. Others love it completely.

It's hard to answer that because nothing can prepare a family for a random crisis. No one is to say that the father may not lose his job, or that the father may not up and leave his wife and child on their own to support themselves. No one is to say that a wife won't run out on her husband. Sometimes things happen, and a woman has to decide how she is going to handle it. For her baby, she will do anything. ( Usually. I've seen some shitty mothers.) If she needs a job to make things work, she'll do it, whether or not the choice is looked down upon.

I've seen more than a few single moms out there working, or women whose husbands are home with the kids. People find a way to get by.
