Well, this particular "paper" was hard to read because it was poorly written. But anyway.

I'm not read on womens' studies. All I know is behavior from the thousands of women I've met in my lifetime. From scholars with MA's to bitches with 20 kids in the ghetto...and the ONE thing they all have in common is constantly making poor decisions based on emotionalism. Women with PHD's...IQ's that DWARF mine, have done some incredibly stupid shit on the drop of a harmone you wouldn't believe. And the reverse isn't nearly as true for men.

And White Devil, I read awhile back of a study showing that men physically larger in the workforce tend to get promoted faster. I think physical intimidation definitely counts for something in everyday life.

For thousands of years, men have been making poor decisions. Human beings make poor decisions. Women make poor decisions. Women may make a few bad choices in life based on estrogen, but whole wars have been started over a little too much testosterone.

That, however, I know to be true unfortunately. I've also not been promoted because a female manager didn't get along with me, and preferred the guys in the unit.

There's crappiness everywhere, in either gender.

It is possible to feel as an equal and be a woman, and not be a feminist. I am not a feminist, but I am in no way tied to old thinkings on women. Then again, I'm more of the sort of deal with everyone on an individual basis. Race, gender, religion and orientation are there, but there's no equality struggle. I've been hated for my gender, because a woman hurt someone badly. I had to suffer for that. That was his problem, not mine. Racists, homophobes and misogynists usually make an ideal image of the thing they hate, and won't stray from their thought processes.

AND IN THE ARTICLE IT SAID THAT IT IS POSSIBLE FOR A WOMAN TO BE STRONGER THEN A WEAK MAN..REGARDLESS OF UPBRINGING..EVERY MAN ISNT BROUGHT UP TO PLAY FOOTBALL OR LIFT WIEGHTS..SO YES IT IS POSSIBLE FOR A WOMAN TO BE PHYSICALLY STRONGER THEN A MAN..NOT SAYING IT WOULD BE POPULAR TO SEE..BUT POSSIBLE

AND EVEN THOUGH CERTAIN DISCOVERIES HAVE BEEN MADE...IT WILL TAKE HUNDREDS OF YEARS TO BE ACCEPTED...JUST LIKE RACISM...BASICALLY CERTAIN HARD HEADED GENERATIONS OF PEOPLE NEED TO DIE OFF FOR OUR WORLDS THINKING TO EVEN BE TRANSFORMED

AND ON A PERSONAL OPINION NOTE:
[food for thought] WHEN A MAN PHYSICALLY ASSULTS A WOMAN (whether it be his girl or anyone else) ITS USUALLY BECAUSE HE HAS LOST CONTROL OVER HER ..MAYBE SHE IS MOUTHING OFF AND WONT STOP AND MAKING HIM LOOK DUMB..OR WHATEVER MAY BE....MY POINT IS..PEOPLE RESORT TO CONTROL AND DEGRADE SOMEONE ELSE, ONCE THEY FEEL THREATEND OR A LOSS OF CONTROL...ITS USUALLY A MAIN FACTOR FOR ALOT OF PREJUDICE THAT EXISTS AND /OR EXISTED...AND THAT ALONE! IS PROOF OF THE STRENGTH IN WOMEN..MINORTIES..ETC...

I THINK ITS A SHAME WHEN I SEE IT..BUT GAINING "RIGHTS" MEANS YOU HAVE A CHOICE AS A WOMAN IN THE UNITED STATES, TO BE TREATED AS AN EQUAL HUMAN BEING...AND WOMEN DONT GET PREGNANT BY THEMSELVES...IT TAKES A LOOSE MAN OR MEN TO CONTRIBUTE TO A WOMAN THAT IS HAVING TOO MANY BABIES ALONE WITHOUT THE HELP OF A HUSBAND AND MOST WOMEN THAT ARE LIKE THAT, SEE NOTHING WRONG BECAUSE THEY SAW THIER MOTHER DO IT WHEN THEIR DAD DIDNT WANT TO BE A PART OF THEIR LIVES...SO ITS A CYCLE OF WRONG WITH MEN AND WOMEN...AND JUST LIKE MEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE LAZY THUGS...ON THE STREET SLANGIN WHATEVER IT IS THEY ARE SLANGIN....A WOMAN HAS AN EQUAL RIGHT TO BE A LAZY AND PROMISCUOUS...I PERSONALLY THINK ITS A SHAME FOR ANYONE TO WASTE THEIR LIFE OVER BULLSHYT ..BUT WHEN WOMEN BECAME EQUAL IN REGARDS TO HAVING RIGHTS IN THE US...THE CHOICE TO BE CARELESS IS ALSO CONSIDERED A CHOICE..AND ITS THEIR RIGHT

Honestly, I don't think so. Because even if things reverted back to a far degree, it tends to work in a cyclical pattern and there would be rebellion again. Too many women are traditional, and a few will rebel and start it anew. If it began to get too close to the old ways, young girls would not want to be like their mothers. Generations move in different ways. There will always be those who fight for their right while others are apathetic towards it. But the choices will be there for those who take it. Not every man/woman goes to college. Sometimes races, genders, orientations get disuaded and forget they have a choice. Or sometimes it's harder for them to do the things they want to do. There will always be members of that race, gender, religion, orientation ETC ETC that will fight for the rights they deserve. Even if not everyone chooses to go that way.

And there will always be those who stand in their way. Racists who don't want to see blacks be successful or working with them. Bigots who don't want to go to a latino doctor. Misogynists who don't accept women in high places. Hatred is spawned from jealousy and fear.

The same people who sit back and point out the weaknesses of a race, gender, orientation are those who envy it. A man who says women are more likely to make stupid choices is just as bad as a white man who says that all blacks are violent. Same difference. Hate and prejudice have many faces.

Honestly, I am not feminist but I believe it all comes down to CHOICE. Some hardcore feminists forget this and they put down stay at home moms, and women who are more traditional. They tell them how they should go out and work, and not be the traditional woman role.

I won't debate strength because I am 5'5 and I can't bench even 80 lb. And I am not athletic. I have other hobbies. I sculpt, paint, draw, and write. I excell in the arts. I used to arm wrestle the boys in middle school before puberty made them stronger than they were. I do not want to have children. The prospect of childbirth is horrid to me, and finding a husband isn't a big deal. I'm not in a hurry. My decisions are based on what is logical and best for me, but also I keep other people's feelings in mind. It's a balance that all human beings need to adopt. How to do what is best for yourself while not being a dickhead to everyone else. It is true that you need to think of yourself, but helping your fellow man is also important. To get rid of ignorance and hate, there must be education. There is still racism in the US, and still bigotry. Still so much hate.

I have seen girls outrun boys, or out swim them. I have seen a guy pick up 300 lb like it was a tooth pick. Shows of strength and power that are neat to watch and helpful if you need to defend yourself.. but it is the mind and how we help each other that is the real issue.
