I completely agree. I dont know what CD you guys are listening to, after bumpin this album for the past 2 days I fuckin love it. IMO I think it has way more cuts than SIckology. And Tech has alot of good verses in it. Shit Harvey Dent alone goes harder than anything on Sickology. I love the production on almost every track. Only thing I would say is Hooks on a few songs are kinda lame. But overall, this shit slaps.

I played it for a bunch of friends yesterday during this BBQ I was at and they were all lovin it. Yes this the most mainstream album Tech has made and Im lovin it... Fuck the haters.

If you honestly think Harvey Dent is better/harder then Red Nose then please GTFO!!!! your opinion is now meaningless

Nah I understand that its just I WISH that it wasnt that way. But it is. It just sucks when you got your favorite rapper and there making a move you wish they didnt. It may be better for them but its still something you woulda rather not seen ya know what I mean
I agree. I would love for Tech to stay true to the Anghellic style, but the fact is that he wont and shouldnt. If he truly is ur fav rapper, than respect the fact that he wants to make it big and gain as much exposure as he can. He wont do that by doing Anghellic type shit. Its selfish for anyone who wants Tech to stay the old Tech and make less money just to make us happy. IMO hes still makin quality music and Im lovin to the new style. But for those who cant appreciate the direction he is trying to go for the reason he is trying to go there is just fucked up.

And Krazee, I figured someone would point that out with Red Nose. The reason I say Harvey Dent is a better song than Red Nose, is because IMO it was a much more personal song that hit closer to home as well as had a better concept I think. I love how on HD he has the hard bass hittin in first part of the verse when hes talkin about how people want him to act and do certain things, then the beat switches to a lighter tone and he answers back why he aint gonna do that shit and do whats best for him. And how he goes back and forth with himself throughout the whole song and how the beat switches to the mood in which he is rapping about. Both songs are classics in their own right for the purpose they were written. But I just connected better with HD.

well i finally listened to it and i wouldnt say it's garbage but it's definitely not good at all, you got some real good hiphop coming out of the woodwork nowadays and tech has slowly been rising just for rapping his emotion and with this album i think is a step back then forward. i understand not wanting to rap about dark shit and trust me i dont need to here that either but to make watered down music just to apeal to masses is stupid specially with the direction that hiphop seems to be turning. he can say he's just evolving and he just doesnt want to rap about darkness and if thats true than i find it pretty pathetic that the only 2 emotions he knows are dark and party. i never really like the collabos cd's that much but they always got a few great songs on em and with this one they got 1. i dunno maybe it was a just a filler to warm up for his next album but if this is the way tech is turning then i dont know if i'll be buying any future albums.

what if the great actor Johnny Depp said he wanted to go all poppy to make it big? they wanted him too and it looked like he had to and he stayed true to form and looked what turned out.

what if tarintino said he needed to go all mainstream with his movies cause shit wasnt doing good in theatres? well he stayed true and now people bow down to him as one of the best.

fans are fans for what the musician did in the past not the future, i respect the fact that he wants to make it big and by all means he should do his thang, but he should respect the fact why people say he's selling out cause what you said alone is proof that you even think so. doing shit just to make money or to be big is a fucking sellout my man and i dont respect any rapper or actor or anything that does that shit, hip/hop is suppose to be an artform not a place to exploit for money.

Earlier in this thread (before it got deleted) I said I bet I could guess what producers produced what songs....Kain then doubted me.....and he was right, I recant my statement.....but I will say I bet I could guess which beats were made with Fruity Loops...

And that's why the beats on this album fucking suck is because u can fucking tell......Doin It for example SMH

I liked Doing it. I thought the song and beats was good. I can tell its FL but so what? Most beats are computer generated or samples anyway.

Yuks vs was good and IMO the chorus was good.

Like someone else stated previously, FL Studio is irrelevant.
How is FL irrelevant when the drum patterns sound the same and the beats are getting worse and worse.....at least the beat for like yeah was so different it didnt even matter, and u could barely tell......but now the beats are SO fucking obvious it takes away from the quality of the song

Lol. They WERE my favorite producers ever, from 95-05. But just like Krazee was talkin about, they use DIGITAL now. And its a BIG difference from their Analog days. But after they won their Academy Award, they sold out. They bought a cheaper Digital studio, & now their beats aren't nearly as good as they once were, & they don't put near as much effort into them. That being said, their beats are still better than the ones on here IMO.
