@Zestways:Really? I have friends who have had them and never burnt out. Although my friend installed fans on his hooked up to his ignition. He is planning to do the same for mine since I do agree with you on the heating up part.
@Kool Aid: Memphis audio is good but way out of my price range for being afordable. And i think i will go with the 1606D. Thanks man.
@Gimpy Pimp: I posted this in layitlow.coms forums awhile back cause someone had a similar thought on caps being crap and to go with a new alternator. This is what I had to say about it.
What if you can’t afford the alternator? I can get a 2 farad cap for 50 bucks. An alternator is not always the best choice. Everyone is different. Just because you feel this is the best choice doesn’t make it right for everyone. In my case my car does not have an option for a higher alternator that I can see. Its 105Amps standard and there is nothing higher. Even if there is they are in the $150.00 price range and then I would have to pay someone to put it in. Labor is about 135 an hour now. Just guessing it’s only an hour which I doubt it is then you’re already in the 200 -300 price range maybe more depending on time. I agree with you that a battery is good option but not if the battery in the car barley fits now. I got a die hard gold not too long ago and works good for me. I also looked into a gel cell and was told it would not fit. There are many factors involved in making the choice to get a cap. Also saying a cap will cause voltage drops to the amp is not entirely true. All you have to do is get a cap that exceeds the voltage running in the car and make sure the amps ESR and ESL (indicates the amount of voltage drop
That occurs when a capacitor is delivering current) values are less than 0.002 ohms. If they are higher than this then yes your statement is true. Which on the market today is allot of the capacitors? Also on the battery an alternator topic, if your system is just shy of having the required power, a cap works perfect to fix this problem. Also helps voltage ripples, minimizing both the dips and the peaks in your systems voltage.

this is my current deck in my car. Its a panasonic CQ-DF903U. I got it about 3yrs ago and I love it. Thought about upgrading to a newer deck but wasnt worth it me. Only thing i would get would be,
CD TEXT(I listen not read)
MP3 playback(I use my ipod with my current deck using the AUX RCA out and a RCA too 2.5mm adapter)
Color 4096 OEL display(This might be the only reason I upgrade eventully but my dot matrix is pretty bright and impressive as it is)

cmon man... hella ya dynamat works, it will not only get the rattles out but it will sound better too... u needa get that shit and dont go buy the whole liscence plate kit, just stick some dynamat extreme on the back of ur plate. and buy that shit off the internet cuz shops overcharge that shit. but imo u cant be slappin without some dynamat
