pretty much but i didnt think those other moves were stellar by any means just adequate. eddie house was the key one, but the addition of scott pollard wasnt bad and james posey has been good enough in his role off the bench. both have adequate experience. our young guys are only going to get better as well. like i said health is going to be the biggest issue here.

Detroit looks real good...watch out for them.

Wade is yet to join the Heat.

Knicks look much better this year.

Orlando looks good this year.

Can they fuck with Boston? Only time will tell.
shaq is done for, therefore so are the heat. wade is a baller definitely top 3 with kobe and lebron. but thats not going to be enough. no single person in the modern era has ever carried a team to a championship. ever. not even jordan. even he had a stellar cast for each and every one of his 6 rings. you cant say that for wade or kobe, they both play on average teams. orlando is the only team in florida with a chance in the east. and i hate the knicks so even if they did have a chance i wouldnt admit because im a homer. but they dont stand a chance. lol

Eddie House is one that I was speaking of, but I was also talking about Posey. I never said these were stars, but they're small pieces that in the long run will help a teams chances, because of experience in big games.

Pollard's not a horrible pick up, either...

My main point is that they're bringing in better talent than they had.

scott Pollard.... you mean the guy who has played a total of 11min this year avg. no points, rebounds, assisits, blocks, or steals and have 4 fouls.... man that was a PICK UP!

and james posey who has played in two games and avg. 5.5 points.......

hey im not the one who said it was a big deal. it wasnt bad though. theyve done what theyre asked and they provide EXPERIENCE. dont take your frustrations about your team out on us. i know you had dreams of the finals and now youre praying for an 8 seed. it will get better over time.

the funniest thing is, scott pollard is going to shit all over greg oden this year statistically since the stats are all that matters.

are you kidding me? I am perfectly happy with my team. Shit I would rather have what I have had in portland these last two years and start young, then microwave a championship like we tried to do in 99-00, Or throw together 3 30+ year olds and have one last charge for a run, cause thats what you have in Boston now..... LOL at a Celtic fan trying to talk shit about these last few years, you guys have fuckin blown balls have you really had any more success then the blazers sense 2000?, and now you got your ONE Shot at the title, hope it works out for you.

well I would hope so because Greg Oden isn't playing this year. I get what you were trying to say, but that was terrible. try again.

I get it you'll take scott pollards 11 min a game then having a number 1 draft choice sit out a year.... Must be tough being a boston fan, especially when greg oden shoulda been wearin CELTIC GREEN.

I saw that lame ass fan almost cry when the lottery came out.

you call anything the blazers have done in history success?

when was their last title? bwahahahaaaaaaaa

you act like garnett pierce and allen are washed up. allen is getting old but pierce and garnett are in their prime. get a grip. boston isnt goin anywhere for a while so deal with it while youre happy with a couple finals appearances in your franchises history.

LOL

The Blazers aren't winning shit, period. Oden won't be this great GOD you think, and just because YOU think they're cool doesn't mean this guys will stay together.

HAHA
Where did I say he was gonna be GOD? lol have you even watched this new blazer team, or read about them, or know anything about them??? no, These dudes are a close young team, where the main parts aren't going anywhere

LOL

smh

Seriously, without resorting to the bullshit that SOME people on here have to, I have no problem saying this about your Blazers:

If kept intact, and with small additions (and get rid of Miles, he's shit), the Blazers have a very talented young bunch who could accomplish real good things. I think they need a veteran star, somebody with playoff experience, and I'm not talking about someone like Lamar Odom or Gary Payton; someone along the lines of maybe...well, shit, if they had landed Ray Allen, for example...or Pierce...

I just don't see this team staying together...it's all politics (money) in pro sports; these guys will want to be paid.

Back to the topic at hand (Celtics), I don't see them, personally, as a better team than a.) Detroit, b.) Chicago, or c.) Cleveland, in the East. The Cavs, maybe...but I don't know. I think it's waaaaaaaay too early to tell; I'm looking forward to this season.
