Just got back from seeing this movie.

Mila Kunis was terribly miscast and I am convinced she couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Other than her though they did a very good job casting this movie.. As far as I knew it was Washington, Oldman, and Kunis. I didn't know there was Ray Stevenson, Tom Waits, and Malcolm McDowell too. Though I enjoy all of them as actors and was happy to see them in the film I do not think any of them turned in anywhere near their best performances.
I thought the plot was relatively weak and the "twist" they felt they had to put in wasn't very good. Denzel's teeth were too white for living in a post apocalyptic world. There is a good scene with a machine gun and Ray Stevenson whistles the theme from Once Upon A Time In America at least twice.
I found myself wishing I wore a watch less than half way through the movie so I could figure out when it was going to be over. It was predictable and seemed to drag to me.

Over all I don't have any reason to watch it again.

I give it a 2 out of 5. (and that is a rating that has nothing to do with the religious aspect of the film). For some contrast though my wife says she gives it 4.25 out of 5, but she kinda sucks at movies.

Saw it last weekend. It was ok. I had really low expectations going to see it. The only reason I went is cuz my girl wanted to see it.

There were some pretty cool action scenes though. I didnt find the ending predictable, but Im not really good at predicting endings. Nor do I make an attempt to figure out whats going to happen. I just sit back and take it all in. It kinds felt like Mad Max at times with a religious twist.

I didn't like this one. It felt like the writer(s) had an idea for a twist and then just threw a crappy story around it. The movie is trying so hard to be spiritual and inspiring, all the while it has to be one of the most mundanely shot and acted movie I could imagine given the material. So much of it had a music video feel. It felt cheap, and it was obviously banking on its twist, which just made it feel even cheaper.

It was a great movie I liked the concept and twist but the acting by that bitch Solara and the wardrobe where fucked. That bitch was wearing some new jeans and shit threw me off from believing it was still an apocalyptic wasteland seems like they let that bitch choose what she wanted to wear in a movie also as posted above denzelz teeth were too clean for a guy wandering the wasteland for years. They copied scenes from Fallout 3 the video game and replicated it in a movie so that part of the job was done for them.

If you can get past this shit and don't really notice you will have a blast still because the combat scenes are vivid and none of that shaking camera all over the place shit you see in other movies. You get the wide angle view of the gory fun.
