The album sucks and there's no excuse for it. Mac Mall hasn't dropped an album in 3 years and this is the stuff he's putting out now? His lyrics arn't bad, but they aint great either. The beats sound like cheap Drummer Boy/DJ Toomp imitations.

Artistic direction is one thing artists almost always have under independent labels...

Yep, but instead of doing anything original or focus on putting out quality/substance they'd rather emulate whats "hot", because it's easier to do that. Rappers have gotten too lazy...As I said the guy hasn't put out an album in 3 years, and then puts an album out that sounds like he made it in a week...
