Anybody who would stay in a mediocre lifestyle when they have a chance to make it big is just stupid. I would go to the mainstream in a heartbeat if I had a chance, I mean shit it's your life just do you. Music industry is a business. I cant count or remember how far back it goes, but almost EVERY single interview I watched or read from Tech, he was talkin about how he is the complete Technique of Rhyme and how his voice needs to be brought to the world. His music is for everybody. That he wouldnt stop until he reached everyone. Which means making it into the mainstream. Its been his goal since day 1.

And him doing it his own way and on his own terms doesnt make him lose any integrity whats so ever. I cant stand when people say making it big and changing some shit to make yourself appealing to the masses is selling out or is somehow sacrificing your integrity. Its when you dont stay true to who you are and start acting like someone your not is when you start losing cred and respect. Which Tech has NEVER done.

What Tech has done/is doing is expanding his label and brand and making his presence felt not only in siccness members mothers computer rooms...but All over the country and soon to be over the world. I cant wait until people see that Tech is just doing what he set out to do from day one. Its his time to shine and if we were a real fan to begin with from begining (like some of us on here) we would not only be happy but PROUD of the fact that someone we have supported on the underground grass roots level has made it to where he is right now. The fact that someone other then independt artists gave a fuck to even add him to Rock the Bells or all these other big tours hes been on means that they doing something right @ strange. I think that Kaliko is gonna be another factor that will get Strange to that next level and Kutt has alywas had to potential to move up. Plus the fact that Lynch is on...DJ Chill is on Cognito...man that shit BETTER get bigger for him lol...I dont see how it couldnt get better..

I have a question, and not to start an argument between anyone and myself, but WHY should the music be the same as when you first started listening to Tech? We all know what he has in his bag of tricks. He is arguably the most versatile MC there is, why shouldnt we expect EVEN MORE different styles of music from him? He is accomplishing everything that you should want to accomplish as an artist whose goal is to get his music to the world. We could very easily be sitting here reading a thread about "how ALL of Tech's music sounds the same" or "he will never get the attention he deserves doing this kind of music".
It is all relative my friends, but I am very glad that my dude is getting the exposure he deserves, and maybe it is because the new music is more appealing to the mainsteam, but it will open up his ENTIRE library of work to a new fanbase.
