i drove on a suspended for a year...boom finally get caught.they towe my shit........so i went to court judge gave me 2 months to get my license back...and he would drop the red light ticket/and no insurance/and some other shit...but without gettin my licesne back i was lookin at 2900...went to the dmv found out i owed on 3 tickets...2100 dollars i paid that day they took the suspenion off and i got my dl back...went back to court and only end up paying them 400...dont pay the court first u pay the dmv to take the hold off yo license...the only sorry thang ive had my ls back since april and i got 3 tickets in 1 month..yea...sucks

the dmv should not take your license. they definitely won't take it if it's going to be suspended rather than already suspended.

well mine went to collection but i paid it at the dmv....because there the one that suspends your license...when u go to the dmv pay it and then u gotta pay a 50 dollar fee and then u gotta pay a reissue fee which is like 24 dollars...then your shit wont get suspended.....the only thing court is there for is to take your money...
pay your fine or depending on what it is write or fax a letter to the traffic commisioner. i had a couple tickets in san mateo county that were sent to some irs collection. i typed a letter to the judge saying i take full responsibility for my lack of taking care of this matter and if he could reduce my fine to a more reasonable amount. they have fax numbers. you have to call the court to get it. he cut my fine from $1393 to $723 and gave me 45 days to pay it without suspending my l's. communication really works.
@GAS You got a job tho homie, i think thats all they care about. I had the court start garnishing my check and shit, and they was takin like $200. But it was for two FTAs when i was like 18. Went to the courts the judge saw i been workin 6 years, cut both my cases in half $1200>3200. Dont forget DMV charge $60 for reinstatement
Yeah, initially the dude at the court kinda put me aside and told me that i could fill out papers and see a judge that day and ask them if its possible to get my fines decreased, i just hella didnt have time to sit there extra hours that day, or atleast i remember it like that...i guess it was my irresponsibility for procrastinating on the matter and ill go ahead and admit that much at court as someone mentioned...figure ill pay the dmv friday, go to court monday, and pay whatever the rest is on the 3rd..

yeah i dont even wanna do all that. not that im afraid of the law i just like having peace of mind that any cops in my rearview is completely parinoia and as long as i drive like the handbook and look at the cop when he passes and looks at me im straight.

my coworkers car broke down on the 905 and he was walkin down that shit gun in hand like tommy from vice city..thats not even a real freeway its a demolition derby for mexicans and mack tracks
they have their own offramp pathways that have absolutely nothing to fucking do with the freeway

alot of times border patrol (la migra, lol!) catch them driving without insurance and dont even do shit because they have families and work out here and it would be ruining their lives, to make it worse theres hella junkyards and auto wrecking spots on the 905, so you just get the craziest of drivers around this area
