Why? They've done it before.

If it was scripted, then why did they completely ignore it when they reviewed the match? Things that change the course of a match ALWAYS get showed in the review.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't scripted becuz Cena got up and had that WTF look on his face. I guess the fan really didn't want to see Cena win. They should just turn him back to a heel becuz everyone hates him anyway even if they are trying to make him some big Babyface.

They also have Jericho, but he's on both shows anyway.

I think the whole reason of having the Jericho/Show as unified Tag Champs is so that they get two big stars on both shows.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE developmental star Brett DiBiase (brother of Legacy member Ted DiBiase Jr.) was the "fan" who ran-in during the Randy Orton vs. John Cena WWE title match at SummerSlam last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

DiBiase is 21 years old and is the other son of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (Sr.). DiBiase signed his WWE developmental deal in early 2009.

Yeah.. DEFINITELY A WORK!

pretty much everything in wrestling is scripted, 99% of the time the fan interupting the match is all part of the show. They will probably make Brett Dibase a new member of Legacy. damn i missed taker lol. All the matches i saw were pretty good, Legacy and DX was my favorite. I bet Rey and Dolph was a good match, missed that one. Only caught the last 4 matches.

Lol at more people cheering for Orton than for Cena, that crazy turn of events made it good match. I like how it ended.

Brett DiBiase is in FCW right now so it wouldnt surprise me if they're grooming him to replace his brother in Legacy around the time Marine 2 comes out... you KNOW they're going to have Ted turn face for DVD sales....

Cena definitely needs a heel turn, that was embarrassing hearing him getting boo'd that bad while the announcers tried to play it off..

definitely but this was unique cuz it seemed like a fan fucked up the match. I definitely thought it was real till i seen the end result. I knew it was scripted when Orton got the Rko and won.

I questioned it, but it looked pretty realistic at the time. I really believe that Vince McMahon changed that match 74 times in the middle, which also is what caused Lillian to fuck up so much. Everyone looked confused. If there was a writer who came up with a "Let's have Orton lose 4 times and start the match over and over and over and then have a guy run in and attack the ref, it'll be great" storyline, and they actually went with that idea... I dunno. It seems like one of those situations where Vince knew something was going to happen that most of the talent had no clue about.

You might as well just start calling it WCW again, and let one of the guest hosts beat Orton for the belt.
