I think it was a plant.. I mean, the finish of the match changed.. Cena was about to win.. Orton wasn't escaping.. If they were to have Cena win, they would've had Orton get in the ring and get a FU or whatever its called now.

But it was a different finish and seemed like a pretty scripted finish, so I'd say he was definitely a plant.

That's how they want you to see it.. But there's no way they would've changed the finish or anything.. Cena was about to win, and Orton ended up taking the W, it was a set up for sure.

I don't think Cena was going to win with that STF or whatever he calls it. I think Orton was supposed to slowly make his way back to the ropes and break the hold. I don't think that fan was scripted because they completely ignored it when they did the recap after the match as if it never even happened. Not to mention both wrestlers looked like they didn't know what the fuck was going on and the way the security guards took the dude out of the arena was pretty realistic and not wrestling-like.

They would never have actually showed him getting pulled into the back if it was real.. They just cut to the crowd and shit like that... Plus, why would orton go to the outside of the ring, to perfectly set up the finish?

And he already slowly made his way to the ropes.. You don't slowly make your way to the ropes, get pulled back to the center, and then slowly make your way to the ropes again.. And get the ropes.. Its submission hold 101.. He was about to be done, and then it happened..

You're naive if you think they had the finish perfectly planned out otherwise.. Where it would end in a matter of seconds after a new restart.

And you're naive if you think that the dude who ran in isn't some indy wrestler who just jumped in.. The guy was a decent athlete as he came in at the EXACT right time to stop a possible tap. right after the move got repulled to the center where there would be a tap, this happens.. This was the only possible way for Orton to escape the hold, and he did.. He wasn't getting out of it any other way.

lol, plenty of other ways.. it's a wrestling hold, they're tailor made to look excruciating or be broken at any moment...

who cares either way... it was easily the worst of the 3 big matches, with or without the "fan" interference

WWE.com recognizes the fan running into the ring and giving the opportunity to win the title as the headline to an article for results.. So I think that kinda confirms it.

Orton 'Fans' Down Cena

WWE Champion Randy Orton couldn't get himself get counted out or disqualified in his SummerSlam match with John Cena. But in the end, he didn't need to; a crazed fan jumped into the ring and gave The Viper his moment to strike Cena down.

Why? They've done it before.

If it was scripted, then why did they completely ignore it when they reviewed the match? Things that change the course of a match ALWAYS get showed in the review.

Go to WWE.com, and see if they're ignoring it..

Word for word, that's what it says on WWE.com.. They would not say that if it was scripted.

I bet in the coming two days, we'll find out exactly what independent wrestler it was that jumped the guardrail and everything.
