oh and I don't know if they showed it during the broadcast, but Bobby Green tapped to an RNC with 5 seconds left in the 2nd and Herb Dean missed it. JZ still won, but it was pretty weird.

"pussy ass zuffa" doesn't employ or hire the refs, the state athletic commissions do, hence the reason you see the same refs in every organization. So if you got a ref beef cry to the Illinois Athletic Commission for assigning him to the card, not "pussy ass zuffa".

Yeah like the Ryan Bader and Tito fight from a couple weeks ago, Bader admitted at the press conference afterwards that he was out cold and actually woke up in Tito's guillotine, but if you watch the fight his eyes were open and he was moving around.

Open eyes and flailing arms don't = intelligent defense.

because fedor was simply resting after that uppercut. had hendo not fought dirty with those 2 shots to the back of the head, in addition to herb dean not screwing up the call, i truly believe the F-Bomb would have been dropped.

That was no bad stoppage at all, Fedor was out before the blow to the side of the head(a blow that happens a lot in mma after a ko) referee did a great job stopping the fight, fedors eye was closed shut. great ko from Henderson

that aswell. you need to defend yourself intelligently and he wasnt doiung that aswell. he was grabbing at dean's arm fro crying out loud. i like fedor just as much as the next guy but c'mon, sometimes you just gotta be a realist.

I thought this was the safest and best ref stoppage Ive seen. Herb is the best ref IMO in MMA. But I will say, for a major fight like this.. or a championship fight. I think you have to let it go a few more seconds and see if the guy recovers. Fedor is in a slump and yes, he was knocked out for a min. But you gotta make sure he's out or else people will bitch and complain. Also it kinda fucks up Fedor's career even more, especially if he could of recovered.

nah that shit cant be on the mind of a ref when he's reffing man. he has to protect the fighter and he did just that. i finally saw this highlight in HD and dudes eyes were all dazed and he was staring off into space when he turned. he was knocked plain and simple and when you're that knocked the ref gotta stop it. it is what it is.
