Illegal shot or not, Fedor shows once again he hasn't evolved with the sport and is stuck in his old ways. He came out with his hands low, throwing loopy sloppy punches and swinging for the fences. Why would you not only brawl a brawler, but brawl with a brawler with probably the best chin in MMA? SMH Fedor time to go back to russia and do sambo tournaments for the rest of your life.

From the gif you can see he went limp from the uppercut, Dan hit him with 2 blows to the back of the head ( illegal ) and when he turns over he looks like he could have fought on, what would have happened from that point is any ones guess.

btw Vadim ruined Fedor's career. If they would of just stopped with all the bullshit he would of gone into the UFC with his mystique intact and the UFC would of promoted the shit out of him. Who knows how the fights would of turned out, but I have a feeling things might of been different.

^^^ I agree, he could have been the face of UFC imo but that Brett Rogers fight was great especially that gif of knocking Rogers head off. How could i forget about Couture vs. Fedor when they were both still on top would have been epic, wow fucked up how things turned out

As a boxing fan I know that shots to the back of the head are the most lethal shots that can even result in death so it doesn't matter if he went limp for a second after the uppercut or was shook from it what proceeded that were several shots to the back of the head so I'm saying its bullshit. U don't know how hurt he was from the uppercut because literary split seconds later he was getting bombed on by rabbit punches.

I guess it's just one of those circumstances that occurs so quickly it's a tough judgement call on the ref so I'm not trippin (not like I really care either way, just sayin).

^^^lol and the cartel dude's name is Gus. anyway it ended pretty much i thought it would, Awesome wrestling move that results in a TKO. i think it was fair to stop the fight cause Fedor was limp and after that who knows what his state of mind was. some fighters look straight after going limp but they really all types of fucked up.

and from the GIF there was one punch landed on the back of the head, but before that Fedor landed one too. those are illegal but you can see hendo was going for the face but the head turned and in that case it never gets called out. bitter ass fedor fans man lol. i understand dude was amazing but it's just not the same anymore.
