man, me and the homies BEEN saying this for years its just a shame that people are barely starting to notice. I got actual footage and testimonials on what the fans want at a Street Low Car Show talking about "we came to see the homies" and nobody else. Maybe if homies ever come together again to make a stand instead of "doing their own thing" in this rap business then people would start to see that we're united in what we represent and not just homies tryna sell a cd for a quick buck. Its not gonna work if everytime they turn down one group of homie headliners the next man steps up and says "ill do it" just to take advantage of the oppurtunity to perform, we need to unite as whole if we're gonna address and issue like this and not cut eachothers throats.
A BOYCOT WOULD BE NICE BUT MOST LIKELY UNSUCCEFUL.. PERICO TOUCHED ON SOMETHING TOO BUT "EVERYONE" IS TO BLAME FOR THOSE WORDS IN QUOTATION.. NOT JUST ARTIST.. THE WAY FOR THIS TO WORK IS TO GET THE FANS TO SEE WHAT THERE DOING.. NORTHERN CHICANO RAP HAS A BIG ENOUGH FOLLOWING THAT IF THE ARTIST GOT TOGETHER TO SHOW A STAND AGAINST WHAT THERE DOING IT WOULD BE RECOGNIZED AND ADDRESSED AUTOMATICALLY.. ALTHOUGH LOWRIDING HAS A HUGE FOLLOWING IF IT WAS SHUT DOWN IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA (CAR SHOWS) IT WILL HURT THERE POCKETS. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE THIS TAKE PLACE AND FOLLOWED THREW WITH ACTION INSTEAD OF JUST WORDS ON A FORUM. I WISH I WAS IN CALI RIGHT NOW CAUSE I WOULD BE BOYCOTING THE SHOW AT THE GATES..

MY REASONS FOR SUPPORTING A BOYCOT IS BECAUSE OF THE CHANGES THEY HAVE MADE AND NOT KEPT TO THERE TRUE FORM OF BEING. ALSO FOR AS "POOR ME" AS IT SOUNDS. FOR NOT NETWORKING WITH NORTHERN CHICANO ARTIST. IM NOT ASKING TO LET US STAND ON STAGE SHOWING TATTOOS AND RED FLAGS AND SCREAMING NORTE. BUT LET THE MORE PROGRESSED ARTIST PERFORM AND RECIEVE SOME FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. LIKE TONE SAID RIGHT NOW ITS LIKE A PRIVILAGE FOR NORTHERN ARTIST. AND IT SHOULDNT BE SINCE OUR FANS ARE THERE SPENDING WAY TO MUCH TO GET IN.

Well all have the power to launch a successful boycot. As artists we have to press flyers, posters, c.d.'s, Promote on the net and even on here. Spread the word, take a lil space on your flyers or posters the size of a logo to put "boycot StreetLow Magazine" or their logo crossed out. Imma do it, fuck it on my next flyers... Call it hating or what ever but when you put a jerk contest in a lowrider show then complane about how Northern Rappers bring the wrong crowd, then you let Capone-e and fuckin lil bandit ese loco fuck face perform in So Cal. then to me thats hating! Fuck Gilbert, Fuck Lowrider and StreetLow Magazine.
