I think alot of you take shit way too personally. I'd like to offer a few points and by me doing this I mean do disrespect, just a different perspective.
First of all, nobody owes you anything. You must realize that just because it's a low-rider show, you don't have any given right to perform just because you're a homeboy and the show is in NorCal.
Make hit songs and people will want to book you. I know alot of you think you have hit songs. You don't. They spend thousands on e-40 and too short because they draw a crowd. There are no homeboy rappers that are on the same level. Besides e40 and too short conduct business in a quality manner, they know what they are doing and are not a liability of loss of revenue or causing shit to pop off. Until you've had some success, you might want to consider knocking on some doors to play some events for free.
This is a business, and as most of you who have worked for a successful business knows that you stock your shelves with shit that will actually sell. People are not in business to "keep it real", it's about money. This is why this magazine books a diverse show which is to attract money from other places. Blacks, asians and white people spend money too it only makes sense to invite them into the lowrider scene.
