u guys are trippin, its sagat u got to worry about
No shit,i hate sagat players, all they do is spam. This is how every single sagat match goes:

FIRE TRUCK
FIRE TRUCK
FIRE TRUCK
TIGER UPPERCUT
FIRE TRUCK
FIRE TRUCK
FIRE TRUCK
FIRE TRUCK
FIRE TRUCK

Fuck sagat, being good with him is like being good with akuma, who isnt good with them?

Sagat has zero weaknesses, takes no skill to be good with him

Hold back for atleast 1 second typically down back is better unless youre buffering it during a jump in combo. Also you can charge during the animation of a charge move. Meaning you can input Guiles sonic boom and before the animation even completes start charging again. I read that in order to make online work the shortest start up is 13 frames so im sure there will be plenty of input tricks. Walking 360s anyone?

I hope some of you take into consideration that switching to stick wont make you a better player overnight. Also make sure you learn to play from both sides.
If anything you will be worse, the learning curve for a stick is alot steeper than a d-pad.

Who are you? The Grand Wizard of fighting games? No one is saying it's going to make you a better fighter, but myself, and many others, are having problems with the 360 controller. It is hard to pull off certain moves and cancel into other moves with the 360 pad. And speaking of sides, I can't speak for anyone else, but I have no problem with playing side 2 as the only time I'm ever on side one is when I'm hosting a match or someone joins when I'm playing arcade.

lol i was thinking the same thing when i read that shit funny enough

some accessories just advance gameplay, like wheels for driving games or good headphones for gears of war 2 or a gun for a shooting game like house of dead or somethin, im looking at a good controller as the equivelent to arcade gaming it, which i still play from time to time

it might be cool for 2d games too.....like some of the xbox live arcade games, and playing pac man

Im just saying people might spend 180.00 on a stick and think its going to be a walk in the park. I just dont want people to give up when they find out its not. My words are not any more valid than someone elses but fighting games are my scene. www.youtube.com/bucklesmybuckles
I started off playing with a stick. The learning curve for these sticks are not that steep. I can play with a pad, which is why I asked if the d-pad on the fight pad was similar to the snes or genesis one. I can adapt, but my man is jump backwards instead of blocking and its all due to this game and the requirements needed if you're using the dpad. All the games I have require miniumum use for the dpad (selecting weapons or items nothing more), this game, if you're playing with a dpad, requires a lot and it's hard to compensate for a lot of things because the pad is raised.

Have you played the game with the 360 controller?
