well never be top 3 safest cities, keep in mind we border tijuana...as long as drugs are an issue the city wont be that safe...not top 3

and those numbers are misleading...like they break up chula vista and otay mesa, city of san diego and san diego county...i hear the kidnappings down here (south bay) happen pretty often yet dont get publicized...because they dont consider it 'san diego'...

for instance chula vista got labeled 'one of the most boring cities in america' by forbes a few years back when chula vista is like....a part of the city really..not its own city...us sd ppl know that but outsiders think all that shit is different and sectioned off...

most of san diego is safe tho right now in comparison to other spots, you right. but thats solely because the hoods in sd are a small small percentage in comparison to the rest of san diego..and our black percentage is like...7%, %..if not less now....but yeah thats SD's little hustle to look like americas finest city they dont include the entire numbers, toursit city, too much to lose..but we somehow make it to gangland like 2 different times, one being about the mexican cartel... go fucking figure on that one...

i think its increased in safety for sure as years have passed...and you see silly ass gangland with rap music on it focused on cop killing....and you know them white folks gon throw a few million at making sure the hoods get wiped out....shit they even changed the name of bay vista apartments after that gangland shit lmao..hella tryna shake that look

but the border issue will always be there...when you factor how much crime goes through the border daily (we wont factor regular crime, lets just say weapons and drugs) and how close we are to mexicos drug wars.......our city aint really that safe...or they wouldnt be finding 50 tons of marijuana across the street from my pad lolol...if they could even put a number on how much shit is going on from TJ to here....wed be looking pretty bad...but thats impossible cuz not everyone gets caught...im closer to downtown tijuana than downtown san diego...yeah theres a border there that seperates the cities but its really just northern tijuana out here..where im at atleast..

i feel you though. shit got out of control mid 90s. crystal meth and shit all in the hood, black people was smoking that shit and it was lookin like the second crack cocaine wave...i had to get the fuck up and move to the bay area man...i seriously went to san francisco instead of san diego...and frisco is in no way a safe ans crime free city...but all that gang shit couples with the drug shit wa sjust all bad....

definately nothing to be proud of when sd gets grimy like that shit...we are a better city than that..u right

u know what tho i think the gang shit is kinda over so thats makin the streets safer. now i dont mean like no more gangs or gangsters at all, but the way we used to have it back in the days, i think thats gone...the kids aint into banging like the kids were in our days....like everyone was banging and if you wasnt banging you was atleast part of the neighborhood which meant you was gonna fight for your niggas anyway..like i didnt bang but by association i was gonna get thrown in with my niggas...now kids are into jerking and all types of weird shit....only bangers out here now are niggas from our generation and a few new muthafuckas who aint even someone to worry about...

i mean...gang shit was out of hand in sd for a second..blood on blood rivalries and shit....so like i said we lucky the gang shit fazed out kinda...itll never get as bad as it was unless they find some more new drugs to hook us on and cause issues in the hood..i think we good in san diego as far as the urban community, i dont see it getting any worse. but i dont see crime goign away. liek i was sayin in the other post the border shit is still a real issue to keep that eye on..not that mexico would have a chance in going to war with us, but if the mexican mafia ever decides to step up, theyre right in our backyard...terrorism made easy

I think thats why SD is the shit..Americas finest city.....its a Great place to raise your kids,best weather,hella things to do,bad bad bitches....but outtowners or anybody for that matter will get the bizness if your looking for it

i leave to LA once a week for business. im gone maybe half a day. once i see that "welcome to SD county" sign on the way home, i feel like ive been gone too long. When (if) i retire, im buying a spot out here. no matter what, im coming back to sd...just cant let that good piece of pussu leave me.

either that, or LA is that shitty an crowded, it makes me grateful being from/living in SD.

I've never posted on this site before but I thought would let yall know. There are no bloods or crips in Chicago. None. Not even lil kids playing like that. Now on the latino side you hear a lil something about highschoolers claiming Sur way off in some suburbs somewhere. Its an unsaid rule out here. No outta town gangs. Niggaz take pride in not having outta town gangs in Chicago.

I remember when I visited some fam in Chicago. They stay in Little Village. There was a a gang of Inglewood 13 strike ups all over the fuckin place, lol. I thought that shit was random as fuck. I also noticed some of the local hoods hittin up 13K and shit.

Never heard of or seen that in my life. Lil Village is strictly SDs, Kings, and Two Six. Lil village is a warzone that no other nation besides those three want any part of. Trust me man. In the city, it aint happening.
