Well, yes, Spanish has a whole shitload of, not Egyptian in particular, but Arabic words, mostly from the Moorish occupation of Spain and Morocco...like al-ghat (climber...."gato", cat) and ustezh/th (professor...."usted", you).......I'm saying...the western interpretation of the word doesn't have the noble background you're trying to attatch it to............Negro..neger (French)..nigger. And i dont believe there are even any Spanish remnants of the NEGR/NIGR root, although, i'd have to check.............by the way...wtf am i talking about?
