“You really think you’re tough huh, Mr. Loco, the leader of Apache! You just look like a punk to me,” said the cop. He looked back at the other officers. He was trying to provoke me. I just stared at him with total hate. If looks could kill, he would have been dead, buried and forgotten.
“What boy? You trying to act tough with me? I’ll slap you around like a girl. You don’t scare me,” said the cop.
I just held it all in. I knew that someday I would have my payback. What was the use in fighting? You never won against cops anyhow. Then a detective pulled up with an unmarked car. I recognized him. He used to be a cop when Vince was alive. He slowly looked at my window then inside my vehicle. Then he walked toward me.
“Did you find a gun?” said the detective.
“No, we couldn’t find anything,” said the cop next to me. “I think he dumped it on a side street.”
I didn’t even bother to say anything. The detective knocked on Angelina’s door to ask them questions. Nobody answered as the lights went off.
