Single Greatest Problem / Threat to our Society

I've done a good deal of study on the CFR, the TLC, and the world Bank. I do see policymakers and groups that definitely exploit and leverage resources and power to the Global North, but I disagree with the extent to which they control mankind's destiny.
If you ask Heresy or anyone else to divulge you get a sort of "Oh you're not part of the priviledged few" attitude, in either case I've looked up online theories about Freemasons, the TLC, Illimunati, the 9/11 setup, etc., and most of it lacks feasibility in my opinion.
If Osama bin Laden is an American government agent, how does one explain the culture of Anti-American jihad? How does one explain the myriad cultural references to Osama, Al-Qaeda, and other Pan-Arabist groups including Arab governments supporting the downfall of Israel and America in popular Arab culture?
Did the United States orchestrate, en masse, a movement of spiritual, political, and social war against America in every echelon of Muslim society from the very poor to the very rich through string-pulling, the CIA, and large, unforseen forces? I believe it is a response to American imperialist policy and continued attempts to reign in the region; a giant oil play that has been going on for decades, sprouting seeds of revolutionary jihad among the Arab Ummah.
